Need a plan. Help me with my 2012 build plz :)
This is my beautiful 2012 TRD OR long bed. I love this truck. She's bone stock from an old man who kept it in his garage. Bought it almost exactly 1 year ago with 93k miles and have enjoyed every minute of it. I love taking it camping, cruises with the wife and kid, and overall everything about it. My ultimate goal is for my 5 month old son to be driving this truck one day. With that being said, I want to hear your guys' opinions on what I should do. First let me tell you what I would "like" to do. I'd like bigger tires but don't want to worry about running so what's my options there? I hear so differing things and that leads me to my next question. I want a 2" lift. Little higher ride height is great. Thoughts on what to do for that? Spacers? Shocks? (Please let it be known I am not very mechanically inclined and I am genuinely asking for help on how to proceed) to better help, I live in Indiana. I'm not doing any crazy off road trails but the occasional rough dirt road will be had when I go up to Michigan for camping. But it is still my daily driver. So I'm looking for something that is flexible with camping but still rides smooth on the interstate. Thank you in advance everyone!!
