Advice for type of water for reptiles?

Advice for type of water for reptiles?

Hello yall! I have a couple reptiles, and I used to spray with spring water from the grocery store, but now I use tap water that is treated with a reptisafe. I have heard different opinions on options like RO, tap, treated tap, distilled, rain water. I don’t own any amphibians, only geckos and snakes. Does RO and distilled deprive my animal of minerals? Does tap contain more harmful chemicals than good? Is rain water safe to give?

Does my snake need a water bowl?

I am ready for the backlash, but do pythons really need a water bowl? My girl here is going on 3 years old, and when I first got her, I followed the care guides and provided a water dish for soaking drinking etc. problem is I rarely rarely ever have seen her in the dish, and I have never ever seen her drink water. I have even tried placing foliage about the water dish to make her more comfortable /hidden there, but nothing. eventually I stopped providing a water dish. I mist the tank everyday, I have a humid and dry gradient, I have hides that are more humid, and after 2 years, I have never seen any s/s of dehydration in my python. What do y’all think?
