DCA or cash

Given the macro environment, is anyone raising cash instead of dripping? Maybe I’ve lived through too many crashes, but I’m wondering if it’s not better to be building up money to deploy during the next 20%+ drop? Maybe if Iran ends soon, we squeak through, but if this goes on, it’s not just the price of gas, food prices will rise because of the cost (and availability) of fertilizer and the drought across the US, the falling dollar is making things more expensive, valuations are already sky high, etc, etc. I’ve been thinking a lot about stopping DCA for the next six months and see how things progress. Anyone out there thinking the same?
