I made myself a slingshot holster, so I can stay strapped
I've been wanting a holster for a few months, but I'm not a leather worker, so I've been putting it off. I finally ordered a sheet of imitation leather from Amazon, and this is what I came up with. No hardware, nothing fancy. But it's functional. I just went out and walked a mile with it on my belt and I'm super pleased how well it works
I found my first slingshot in my parent's house this weekend.
I've been meaning to look for this one for years. Finally found it on a shelf in my old bedroom. Still has the warning label on it. My father originally bought it because he wanted to scare off a groundhog from his vegetable garden. He never shot it much, but I remember shooting lots of pea gravel rocks from the front porch. That's before clay ammo and ball bearings were cheap and before flat bands were a thing. I might order a new set of tubes to put on it, but I'm just glad to add it back into my slingshot collection. IIRC this was from 1998.
