Let me clarify cause this statement can be very misleading.

1. my ps3 is a slim (CECH 20XX)
2. my ps3 on Evilnat 4.93

When I try to play PS2 games off my ps3 slim (installed through pkg), it just shuts off while playing. Don’t know if this is cause the ps2 game realizes it’s playing off hardware that does not contain an emotion engine and just dies or if it’s cause of something else. Either way, not really concerned nor looking for a fix because I have a ps2 with OPL anyways that I play off a crt but if anyone is having this issue and wants to fix it, feel free to discuss in the comments. I deleted all my ps2 games off my HDD cause I’m pretty sure it’s not healthy to do smth that causes a machine to keep powering off. (And no I don’t think it’s a heat issue, my temps are well within the low 40Cs)

If my CFW PS3 gets banned, will all my PlayStations that connected to the same WiFi get banned? I’m not an expert, my CFW ps3 has NOT been banned but I signed into PSN while homebrewed to do an initial launch of PKGi, it was a step on a YouTube tutorial on how to set up PKGi so I simply followed it but started raising my eyebrow in extreme concern when the dude in the video said to sign in to PSN on a CFW ps3. If my console does get banned, I have 2 more PS3 units as backups that have not been homebrewed so I’m not too worried about losing a unit BUT if I buy a PS5 does this mean THAT will get banned too cause it’s like an IP address ban or something? Sorry if this is a dumb question, thank you for answering
