Latest installment of chonker bass! Sadly didn't have my bragmat with me so I used my trusty tape measure 🙌 Caught on a Berkley Jerk Shad diver minnow on my second cast, She fought like a horse, the absolute unit almost broke my little 1-3kg luxel setup on 12lb. Had my drag almost locked as I wasn't getting broken off on any snags today 😁 appologies for terrible camera angles, I had to record it all myself on my solo trip 🫡 Thanks for stopping by, Tight lines! 🎣🇦🇺

(Also last photos are just the release 💪)

Absolute chonker! 50cm specimen caught on second day of the open season (A couple weeks ago) extremely impressed with the quality of freshwater species I'm seeing and pulling out at the moment! Catching and releasing chonker bass like this over the last 3 months has made me yearn for the dirt 😂

Caught on a temu green brown chatterbait with a 4inch Kaitech Shad Impact in Gold leaf.

Samaki Zing 200HA paired with 30lb braid and a Shimano revolution baitcast rod. (Braid is heavy to reduce knots when coming off the spool! And its my big flatty rod too 😁)

I can't seem to be able to post the release vid so a pic in the water will have to do 🫡
