Freestyled this Bison Sammie Recipe

Sorry, no pictures as I haven't made it yet. Call it Mediterranean kitchen theory? Or, just riffing on the Mediterranean diet with some North American ingredients?

Haven't banged out the directions yet because I am lazy and I don't really need them anyway. It is just a sandwhich with a vinaigrette and spread. Not hard to figure out.

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 slices Authentic whole-grain rye sourdough bread
  • 3–4 oz Home-roasted bison eye of round, shaved paper-thin on a deli slicer
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Fresh mustard greens, chiffonade
  • 3 slices Fresh ripe tomato, thin
  • A few slices Fresh red onion, very thin
  • Combine
  • 1 tbsp Cold-pressed unrefined pecan oil
  • 1 tsp Raw apple cider vinegar
  • Combine
  • 2 tbsp Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/8 tsp Prepared horseradish
