I am looking at a privately-sold 2019 NC750X with 11k miles. I went to see it and noticed some surface rust on the side stand and near the rear axle/chain adjuster block, which I understand is pretty normal wear in those spots. But there's also a patch of flaking paint and surface rust on the subframe near the rear shock. The seller told me it is a common issue with this bike as the paint is quite thin.

Would you consider this normal wear-and-tear on a 6-7 year old bike?

And how easy would you think it is to clean and repaint it myself without removing the rear wheel?

Trying to figure out if this is a legitimate concern or if I'm overthinking a cosmetic issue.
