Before I start - this isn’t a rant, I just want to understand better.
I’m based in the UK and have made a start on completing a 1st ed Rocket complete set.
I found a US seller on eBay that had lots of non-holo 1st eds. Each card has ‘Best offer’ turned on. Made them an offer and they keep saying it’s impractical logistically.
Am I missing something? Doesn’t eBay deal with the shipping and the seller just ships normally? What makes this impractical?
NB if you have clean 1st ed rocket cards and are looking to sell please shout!
Hey people. I collect mainly for the nostalgia, and wanted opinions on which set to start next and why!
Currently I’m only collecting raw cards, or buying slabs and cracking. I’m fairly fussy with condition, so usually go for LP+/NM raws, or 7/8 graded. I’ve been a tad more lenient for some of the heavy hitters just due to cost.
So far, I’ve completed a shadowless set, a whole bunch of promos (ancient mew, birthday Pikachu etc.) and I’ve completed 1st edition Jungle, with exception of 2 cards.
Trying to work out what to collect next, and have boiled down to 3 options:
Complete a Jungle Master Set - complete unlimited set, no symbol error holos and the prerelease Clefable
Start on a 1st Edition Fossil set
Start on a 1st Edition Rocket set
Would love to know which you’d pick and why!
