Some of my favorites from my childhood binder

Always loved these in particular out of the hundreds I still have from when I was a kid. Especially the dark Ampharos for some reason. And I love the swirl on the Meganium

Anyone selling 1st edition rocket cards?

Looking to complete the set! Looking for ungraded ideally, in NM/LP condition. I’m based in the UK, so must be able to ship to here.

Mods please shout if this isn’t allowed! Did check the community rules but couldn’t see anything.

Pic for attention

Random Pickup

Picked this up yesterday. Had no plans on getting it, and by far the cheapest card I picked up, but possibly my favorite of the day. Nice little swirl and some holo bleed that I didn’t notice until after purchase.

Finished my Imakuni page!

A tribute the the OG GOAT, Imakuni (with the Ooyama assist). Most of us Americans know him from the TCG Gameboy game, but the man is MUCH more iconic than that. He was an active part of the scene in Japan, playing (and intentionally losing) to kids who came out to compete and trade. In fact, the green card with him shrugging is titled 'Lose?' If you play that card, you lose. Imakuni is on the card saying 'Is it really so bad?'. Like what a legend. He was part of what has become one the biggest cultural phenomena of our lifetimes, from nearly the very beginning, and used that leverage to make cards that were actively bad for the person playing it. He is a deeply silly, beautiful man.

Some particular favorites of mine are the classic Imakuni? -> Neo Imakuni? -> Shining Imakuni? progression. Neo Imakuni has 2000hp, but also says he can't be played as a pokemon. Shining Imakuni is of course a play on the Shining pokemon cards, but instead he's just being blinded lmao. The card in the bottom left corner is Imakuni's corner, which I felt was fitting. Imakuni's doduo requires you to throw it as hard as you can to retreat (seriously, specifies as hard as you can. don't hold back!). Oh, and while the Porygon may seem out of place it is actually Imakuni himself responsible for that delicious polygonal art!

Not pictured here due to being on other pages, but I also have the Fan Club Porygon (done by Imakuni yet again) as well as the Trade Please! card that he did the art for. Dude is just a legend, please share any cool or funny Imakuni stories or facts of your own!!
