Armor vs HP - which is better at what point?

Say I have a hero with 50 base armor and 1000 hp. Do I get more effective HP out of the common item for 30 armor or 200 HP? This is a very common early game decision.

What about 100 armor and 1500 hp?

And then what about late game tanks - with 250+ armor I'd assume HP is better from then on, but if the tank is getting shielded a ton by a mystic then that's essentially generating HP for them which in turn makes armor more effective by intuition so I'm just kind of lost on which is better when. From just playing the game a lot I feel like I can never have enough armor but is that wrong?

Any game math wizards out there?

Is Rip's Glutton supposed to give HP only to other vanguards or is this a bug?

My Rip is just not growing! On images you can see the ability gaining Max HP but Rip staying the same. I thought this happened before but I wasn't sure so this confirms it. It's either a bug or a confusing wording where he's actually not intended to gain HP himself but rather gain it for the backup-only ability.

Anyone else noticed this?

Is Kai voiced by Matt Mercer?

It's kind of funny for a 'star' voice actor to have 2 short lines in a small indie roguelike, but I swear it's him.

He voiced Gangplank in LoL and a lot of his friends(ie from Critical Role) did VA work for Riot as well so he's probably got connection to some of the devs. Maybe this is a secret cameo?

A Positive Post. Thank you for the fun top4 run, G2!

I get why people are upset, as losing to NA in such a brutal fashion was very disappointing, but zooming out and looking at the whole tourney and the whole year G2 should stand proud!

We beat T1. Sure maybe they didn't play their best but nobody beats T1 when they play their best. It was still a banger series and you could see the peaks we're capable of when the boys are locked in! We also beat TES and started their down spiral to tilt. We made it to top4! Sure an NA team is higher than us, so what? Top4 is still a great finish, having played against some of the best teams in the world.

In first stand, we went 3-0 against GenG, 3-1 against FearX, and a non-sweep 1-3 in the finals against likely the best team in the world BLG. Huge!

We got demolished by LYON and as much as it sucks, I think it's a great opportunity for growth - a reality check if you will. At the very top of every sport, the mindset and mental is often the difference and we could see it here, and in the tournament as a whole. Skewmond especially seems to get visibly tilted so if the team works on this in the upcoming months we can go into worlds even stronger and more consistent. I trust that the G2 staff also took home a lot of gameplay/draft lessons to be learned as preparation for worlds too.

Don't let 1 bad day sour the rest of the run, be proud of beating 2 LCK/LPL teams in EACH of the tournaments this year!
