Did you know? Season 5 was originally planned to take place within 24 hours!

Did you know? Season 5 was originally planned to take place within 24 hours!

It was revealed in the making of video « Episode 1 Season 5 commented on by the writing team »

>The three episodes that start season 5 actually start at the same chronological second as the end of season 4. So actually, there are 5 episodes that are coordinated: the last two episodes of season 4 and the first three episodes of season 5 take place at the same moment. It was discussed at one point, in a moment of madness that we went through together, to start all the episodes of season 5 at the same moment, and to have a season 5 that takes place in a single day. And finally, we came back from this a little crazy idea, but we kept the beginning.

It's an anagram!!! [SEASON 7 SPOILERS]

Camilo Pista is the member of The Kingdom who goes by the name The Stomach. He’s in Gabriel Agreste’s phone contacts. Nathalie calls him “father”.

If you rearrange the letters of his name, you get the word “capitalismo” which means “capitalism” in several languages: Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Portuguese! Didn’t Gloob say that a Brazilian villain would show up in Season 7?

Season 6 chronological order: QOTDZ earlier than we thought? [NEMESIS SPOILERS]

When QOTDZ was released, we all expected the continuation of Sadnansi's so-called "cliffhanger". This was not the case. Many (including me) began to theorize that QOTDZ and the two final episodes were earlier and that Sadnansi was actually the actual chronological ending of the season.

Finally, it was noticed that the renovation of Adrien's room in Sadnansi was almost finished: the back wall was painted white, but there are still large blue stripes on the other wall. In Noe, Adrien's room was completely finished. With Secret Protocol coming next, the order «  Sadnansi – Noe – QOTDZ – SP – Nemesis » seemed consistent.

Finally Nemesis came out and we discovered that Adrien's room was full of animation errors (+ the end of Sadnansi wasn’t a cliffhanger). And I noticed that Noe was actually before Lady Chaos because of Marinette’s drawing board.

Anyway, I was a bit lost trying to find a new place for these 2 episodes until I came across an old video from designtracker894.

At the end of Vampigami, Ladybug says "They're spying on us, I already had a feeling but it was confirmed today. We've got to stay alert. ». If we translate the VF literally, we have "They're spying on us, I had my doubts but today I got the confirmation. We must stay on our guard. »

WHAT DOUBTS???

Wouldn't it be from the time Marinette came across stamps in Queen Of The Dreadzone by rummaging through the trash? We have Noe who must come before QOTDZ. In my vision of things, Yaksi Gozen comes before Vampigami because Lila and Tomoé are working together again. So Noe and QOTDZ can come in between.

What would be the point of this scene in QOTDZ if it wasn't for that? If it has anything to do with season 7, it won't be so relevant. We could have done without it. But knowing that since season 6 each scene is thought out because each shot costs money, it can't be booked for season 7.

And then Vampigami. Where else do these doubts come from? Off-screen, you’ll tell me?

What do you think? Is this possible of does this create inconsistencies?

Rose's illness continues to progress and she went back to the hospital in Season 6 ???

To put it simply, I went back to my “tracking the timeline” phase, then I focused on the episode “Wreckless Driver”. In the background, you can see Prem sitting alone in science class. At first, I thought this meant the episode took place after “Vampigami”, when Prem realizes the harm he was unintentionally causing Juleka and decides to spend less time with Rose. But later in the episode, we see a lot of Juleka, and Rose isn’t with her.

SO IF ROSE WASN’T WITH EITHER PREM OR JULEKA AND SHE DOESN’T APPEAR AT ALL IN THE EPISODE, THEN THAT MEANS SHE’S SIMPLY NOT THERE!!! IF SHE WASN’T THERE, IT’S SURELY BECAUSE SHE WAS ABSENT FROM CLASS!!! AND IF SHE WAS ABSENT FROM CLASS, IT’S SURELY BECAUSE SHE WAS SICK!!! SINCE WE KNOW SHE HAS CANCER, WE CAN ASSUME THAT’S WHAT SHE’S SICK WITH!!! SO, JUST LIKE LAST TIME, SHE MUST HAVE HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL, SO HER ILLNESS CONTINUES TO PROGRESS!!!

Am I having a Marinette moment?

Or maybe she wasn’t in the episode because her presence wasn’t relevant to the story.

Best Season 6 WATCHING order (NOT chronological) – WIP Discussion [FULL SEASON 6 SPOILERS]

As you probably know, the production order is the episode order recognized as "official". However, production order is the order in which episodes are written, specifically the order in which episode ideas are approved. It is therefore not chronological order.

And anyway, the chronological order is NOT the best watching order (at least not always). Some people may prefer a consistent timeline and I get it, but it's not the order that guarantees a better experience with twists in my opinion. (If you don't understand what I'm talking about, read the post and you'll probably understand better). The production order is a viable watching order, but I'm going to present my own custom order that guarantees maximum twists.

I'm posting this as a WIP discussion post to get your feedback before giving the final version. Without further ado, let's get started.

The order is:

  1. The Illustrhater
  2. Revelator
  3. Tokyo, Stellar Force
  4. Werepapas
  5. Climatiqueen
  6. Sublimation
  7. Daddycop
  8. The Illustrhater (rewatch)
  9. The Ruler
  10. Sleeping Syren
  11. Grendiaper
  12. El Toro De Piedra
  13. Mister Agreste
  14. Wreckless Driver
  15. The Dark Castle
  16. Vampigami
  17. Yaksi Gozen
  18. The Dirtifiers
  19. The Chained Titans
  20. Riginarazione
  21. Heartfixer
  22. Lady Chaos
  23. Revelator (rewatch)
  24. Sadnansi
  25. A Fairy Good Night
  26. Noe
  27. Queen Of The Dreadzone
  28. Secret Protocol
  29. Nemesis

--

I decided to group the episodes by plots/themes. I give them a title so that you understand what I'm talking about, but in reality, it doesn't matter. I've also created several acts but it's just my delirium.

PROLOGUE

--

CONTEXT

We have to start with the context episodes. Episode 1 in watching order is therefore not at all the first chronologically, try to debate but I won’t budge on that.

The Illustrhater

It HAS to be the episode to watch first because it takes the time to literally set ALL the stage.

Ignoring Lila's little scene at the very beginning, Season 6 will open with Alya saying « So, we have a former holder who went by Hawk Moth, then Shadow Moth and finally, Monarch. And we know that he was defeated and that a new holder claimed his Miraculous ».

https://preview.redd.it/1ku6znqj8zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=ae373876af23477a4f0c2c525d7839b614cf4c2c

The episode will explain again that Ladybug has entrusted all the Miraculous to a holder permanently, and we will be able to see how the team of superheroes (whose name we don't yet know) works.

The episode will mostly focus on the fact that Adrien and Marinette are in a relationship, which is the context of the major plot of the season: Marinette's lie.

And the outro is perfect to brief us on the rest of season 6. The characters have been investigating the new holder all day and at the end of the episode Lila says "Nothing. Nothing! You'll know nothing about me, about us, about them.” Having this episode first makes it easier to see that the London special bridged seasons 5 and 6, especially since it ends with « So you really think you can outsmart me, huh Ladybug?! We'll see who finds who first. »

But that's not the most important thing on the scene. What's important is that we're realizing that Lila was there in the café from the beginning, and we didn't even know it! She was there! She hides everywhere and she tells us "I'm everywhere. I'm nowhere! I'm a chameleon. Nowhere! You won't get anywhere... She came out of the café, and we lost sight of her.

In this scene, Lila subtly says « You want to play? » Well, let's play! Try to find me! » That's literally what Thomas Astruc told us to do. In short, this episode is the perfect briefing.

https://preview.redd.it/vg24ivbg8zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=d4930a2dd1b26ca8a9b8404c06c759e3956a4d8c

Revelator

The intro of this episode is absolutely crucial for the watchers because it allows them to understand that all the heroes now have their adult powers, and that their team’s name is the Miraculers (a name that will be mentioned in Daddycop).

This episode is perfect to watch right after The Illustrhater because in addition to the intro, the opening scene after the theme song shows us a video from the Ladyblog about the Miraculers that echoes the episode The Illustrhater very strongly.

https://preview.redd.it/q6088arn8zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=272e0a6f62141628694a475ee295c1ca54880bc9

For the more observant, later in the episode, Marinette and Adrien will be approached by a girl who happens to be Lila under the identity she used in The Illustrhater.

https://preview.redd.it/6umdmyeq8zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=09b789189ac0f458564ce87b97b7d0fc7949498f

The episode will evoke the plot of the lie which will be important throughout the season.

We also have the introductory episode of Vincent Asa, a character who was reintroduced in this season and who we will see in Climatiqueen.

--

Tokyo, Stellar Force

This special episode is chronologically set during the summer between seasons 5 and 6. Before, I said that it was better to watch it after season 6 because you might lack context if you watch it before, but now the intro of Revelator has set the essential element of context (Ryuko unlocking her adult powers), so we can go for it.

--

ACT 1: The calm before the storm

--

Werepapas

Now we're really entering season 6. (We need to have this in mind)

We start with the intro which shows a cute little flashback of baby Adrien. Then, the opening scene after the theme song shows us Adrien looking at his parents' empty room, symbolizing the emptiness that has been created in his life since he was orphaned. This episode is perfect to start the season after the London special left us on Adrien no longer has a family, but he still has Nathalie. But The Illustrhater HAD to be watched first.

https://preview.redd.it/o5dkmlav8zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=b1e1595c3bea78cbbeb40858aab846d21027eb22

And we have Ladybug's transformation sequence.

Whether Werepapas is chronologically set before Climatiqueen is disputed, there is no point in watching it later, so I put it now.

--

NEW FRIENDS

Climatiqueen – Sublimation

These two episodes introduce us to the new school. They introduce new characters such as Aglaé, Diane and Sublime, but also reintroduce old ones such as Aurore.

Vincent is here, we've known him since Revelator. He is ridiculed with the trash can scene and is even more so when the next scene shows us that he is last in the competition. (For fans of "Revelator before Climatiqueen" in the timeline because Vincent has lost popularity, it's a no.)

The episode ends with Adrien meeting Sublime, which forces us to watch Sublimation right after. (Anyway, I don't see what we could put in the meantime.)

https://preview.redd.it/kzg80wt09zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=c870fa6c2c8b115909a595a4615421b3d997102e

The episode Sublimation introduces us to Sublime after her introduction in Climatiqueen. It is important to watch this episode early because the character will be used in many future episodes.

--

NEW ROMANCES

Daddycop – The Illustrhater – The Ruler – Sleeping Syren

I just put these 4 episodes in chronological order.

Mylène mentions Sublime in Daddycop: to understand who we are talking about you have to have watched Sublimation.

I know The Illustrhater has already been watched before, but it was in the "context" section, so it doesn't really count. I hesitated to put Revelator right behind (yes that's its chronological location, and not the episode is not somewhere after El Toro De Piedra), but I found a better place for it later.

Grendiaper

Even if it looks like this episode is the day after Daddycop's sleepover, you have to watch it after Sleeping Syren for there to be a twist on Fury's identity. I know that many have been confused by the outro of Sleeping Syren, but this twist is deliberate because the production order agrees with it and this outro would have absolutely no interest in existing if we already know who Fury is.

https://preview.redd.it/8aftsl559zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=1a0ca401c90bdca9baf8ba795ca3e25e167addc0

ACT 2: The wind picks up

DOUBTS

El Toro De Piedra – Mister Agreste – Wreckless Driver

These 3 episodes talk a lot about Adrien's doubts about his father. I have put them in chronological order.

I hesitated to put Wreckless Driver later to follow up with Lady Chaos (whether the two scenes are the same therapy session or not). But I didn't do it for several reasons:

  1. Unlike in The Dirtifiers, when Chrysalis throws antikumas her face is not fully shown. This means that this episode is supposed to be watched before unveiling Chrysalis' design.
  2. The episode introduces us to Aglaé after her introduction in Climatiqueen. So, you have to watch the episode before any episode which uses the character (by making her talk). This is the episode that is supposed to make (or not) some fans think that Aglae is Lila.

This episode introduces the psychologist, Dr. Psiquat.

https://preview.redd.it/3dracx5f9zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=9d6b18ecd7381d59714edbf2a98b52e4f42c5af7

SUSPICIONS

The Dark Castle – Vampigami

Chronologically, this theme is parallel to the previous one, but they must be separated in the watching order (because it’s better to one shot themes). Since in The Dark Castle, Aglae intervenes, it is better to have seen Wreckless Driver. So, I'm putting this theme second.

Aglae says that Marinette is not there. We later learn that it is this detail with Aglae that makes Lila have even stronger suspicions that Marinette is Ladybug. (We need to suspect Aglae to be Lila.)

We learn that Lila suspects Marinette of being Ladybug, and we will see that she is convinced in Vampigami. Although in Vampigami, this is the subject of the outro (where the twists normally are) unlike in The Dark Castle, the reverse order is disturbing so we won't stick to it.

We also discover that Lila and Tomoé work together (so that's the twist).

The chopped trio says they're going to go after Adrinette, which teases the next episode: Heartfixer. (Lila is determined to prove that Marinette is Ladybug teases it too.)

https://preview.redd.it/xvynr0ij9zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=20c349fde81d14944ac7a2cc321137c5f08c35f6

--

FAMILY CONFLICTS

Yaksi Gozen – The Dirtifiers

Oh no, actually Heartfixer is not the next episode. First of all, you have to see the episode that reveals the design of Chrysalis: Yaksi Gozen.

You have to watch Yaski Gozen after Vampigami to enjoy the twist of Lila and Tomoé working together. And because in Vampigami, Lila’s face is still partially hidden.

Chronologically, the order is reversed, but this order is better to watch. Although it's not in the outro, the moment when Lila says "Hello, mother" already feels like a plot twist. Anyway, it's in this episode that we have the slow transformation of Chrysalis, whose design is used in The Dirtifiers.

https://preview.redd.it/tsqzptyt9zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=261d14898aec62b3c6c3e699e8c50a07521ee155

The Chained Titans

This episode being quite filler, the opportunities to place it are numerous. But since we have cut the continuity of the plot between Vampigami and Heartfixer, we will take the opportunity to put it in its chronological place.

And then it fits into the theme "Family conflicts" although it is not related to the Tsurugi family.

--

Riginarazione

Well, it's still not Heartfixer. Although it's about family, it doesn't fit the "conflicts" theme, but we don't care because the title doesn’t matter.

I hesitated to put the episode between The Dark Castle and Vampigami (its chronological place). It fits into the theme with Lila akumatizing Marinette's grandmother to try to have proof that she is Ladybug, but we only realize it with hindsight, so it doesn't matter for a first watching.

So, I put it there, because watching the episode featuring the death of Marinette's grandfather allows us to better understand Marinette's emotional distress in the episode Heartfixer.

--

ACT 3: In the heart of the storm

--

THE WEIGHT OF THE LIE

Heartfixer

Finally! The episode of Marinette's akumatization.

All the themes of Act 2 converge on this episode: Adrien's doubts about his father, the letter, Lila's suspicions, Chrysalis’ design, the family. Everything!

And that's the starting point for the most important theme of Season 6: the weight of the lie.

In the end, Ladybug convinces herself to make sure that Adrien never learns the truth. It's important to watch it to understand (without justifying) why she reacts in such a panicked way in Lady Chaos.

https://preview.redd.it/pzkcfnsz9zjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=2597a0068470bfeb33c46c6d18888f6c5b9e8e5c

Lady Chaos – Revelator – Sadnansi

These are the consequences of Heartfixer.

Lady Chaos and Sadnansi are in chronological order. And Revelator has nothing to do there chronologically, I know. And it's a rewatch (but at least that way you can place it wherever you want). But I put it there for 3 reasons:

  1. The climate of tension at that time is perfect. We are fully in the theme of the weight of the lie, and the episode talks about it.
  2. Although this is chronologically completely false, Marinette forced Alya to lie in the previous episode: this gives Rena Rouge a double reason to resent Ladybug upon learning the truth.
  3. The outro shows us Alya wishing to help Marinette with her secret. This is perfectly in line with the Alya’s role in the next episode, Sadnansi.

https://preview.redd.it/tno0l4aoazjh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=dd74c10868cd0618aa29d5b69ade71769e55010b

--

A Fairy Good Night

You have to watch it after Wreckless Driver since the character of Dr. Psiquat is used at the end.

To understand why Rena Rouge and Luka are present in Marinette's nightmares, you have to watch this episode after Mister Agreste and Revelator. Revelator was already seen at the very beginning, but I preferred to put AFGN here after the rewatch.

The guest room in the Dupain-Cheng house is introduced. It's better that this detail is fresh in our head when we see Secret Protocol.

--

THE FINAL STRETCH or VILLAINS EVERYWHERE (we don't care about the title actually)

This theme is not as excellent as the previous one, and it's a shame for the end of the season but never mind.

Noe – Queen Of The Dreadzone

I think it's best to watch Noe right before Queen Of The Dreadzone because of the introduction of the Noé character.

During my research on the timeline, I first thought that Noé was actually there, before realizing that I was relying on an animation error. As I continued to search, I came to the dubious conclusion that these two episodes were between Yaksi Gozen and Vampigami. But since I don't want to be beaten up for putting episode 24 before Vampigami, well I'm not going to do it. Anyway, Yaksi Gozen is watched after Vampigami so it's unplaceable that way.

Noe starts with Marinette saying that everything is perfect. Since it creates a sudden shift with the end of Sadnansi, I put an episode that has absolutely nothing to do (AFGN) between the two.

QOTDZ ends with the outro showing Lila going to Shanghai, we can continue with Secret Protocol.

https://preview.redd.it/24i7nbyiazjh1.png?width=1919&format=png&auto=webp&s=43d19b122697f2c20563e6c75455b3db752129ef

Secret Protocol – Nemesis

I wish Sadnansi and Nemesis had been linked together because of Alya's investigation into Gabriel Agreste's disappearance, but with the torn portrait and the parents knowing that Marinette has been a Ladybug for a very short time, I was forced to put Secret Protocol in between. Since I already cut, I put 3 more episodes after Sadnansi.

The episode uses the guest room.

You have to watch Secret Protocol first because otherwise it spoils the twist of the identity reveal to the parents.

There's not much to say, it's the final episodes.

https://preview.redd.it/nj5jcbenazjh1.png?width=1919&format=png&auto=webp&s=139c1d7fce5f0f26c13e452ee5302a46d9083bb6

--

I didn't mention Ray's blackmail of Zoé: first Daddycop, then Vampigami and Grendiaper (the order between the two is irrelevant).

Then there's The Kingdom: first El Toro De Piedra (although it's possible that the scene is not the first), then Yaksi Gozen, and finally Noé.

--

Well, it was super long. What do you think?

Marinette could have handled it differently [Secret Protocol spoilers]

Marinette was reluctant to wear the earrings her uncle had given her. She had nothing against earrings themselves, but she didn’t want to take off her Miraculous (which makes sense).

But can’t you choose the camouflage mode on your Miraculous? Marinette could have hidden for a few seconds by pretending to put on her earrings in front of a mirror, changed the appearance of her Miraculous, and hidden the real ones.

That way, her uncle wouldn’t have a clue and it would make him happy, while Marinette keeps her Miraculous.

Theory about the next episodes of Miraculous Secrets

So I noticed two things about the choice of subjects:

  1. They take a character to talk about him throughout the episode. They try to evoke all the points that link the character and the notion of Secret.
  2. It seems (if I don't analyze too much) that the series works in an episode diptych. The first episode summarizes the first arc and teases the second arc. The other episode follows him and focuses on the first arc to focus on the second arc.

--

Here are the themes of the secrets covered so far:

A - Superheroes

  1. The first secrets. Centered on Adrien and Marinette. Summarizes their life from the first arc with the secret identities and the love square. The narrator evokes the future for season 6 before planting us there.
  2. A shared secret. Centered on Alya. Follows the fact that Ladybug hides her identity since that's where Alya finds out everything. Gives an update on the discovery of Alya, and that she had a Miraculous. And we are told about the sequel that she is a superheroine. It ends when we get hyped.

--

B – The Butterfly holders

  1. Gabriel Agreste. Centered on Gabriel. Summarizes the first arc. Tease the second arc with Ladybug's lie. And the narrator plants us there.
  2. The new holder of the butterlfy Miraculous. Centered on Lila. Makes the point of the first arc on is Lila (well who we think she is). Talks about Lila in the second arc. It ends when we get hyped.

 --

My theories:

C – The Kingdom

  1. Centered on Nathalie. There are things to summarize about her in the first arc, you can't say the opposite. Teases the second arc with her involvement in The Kingdom. I wouldn't be surprised if the narrator plants us there.
  2. Centered on Tomoé. Gives an update on the first arc (basically who she is + the fact that she helped Monarch). Go talk about everything she does in season 6 (I don't know what precisely but there's bound to be things to say about her since she's as antagonistic as in season 5). It's going to talk about the motivations of the kingdom and It ends when we get hyped.

 --

D – The Sentikids

  1. Centered on Felix. Summarizes the first arc (lots of things to say). He doesn't do much in the second arc.
  2. Centered on Kagami. Takes stock of the first arc. Talks about his relationship with his mother in the second arc.

 --

Other interesting characters to explore (hard to find diptychs).

Zoe being Fury. It's easy to summarize the first arc with her arrival in Paris. Then we have Zoebrina now.

Noé. Possibly the Kingdom is a triptych ? Or in Tomoé's place?

Audrey. Could go with Noé but there's nothing to say.

Chloe. Could but no secrets strictly speaking.

(The 4 are from the same family anyway...)

Marinette 2. The lie.

Here is my interpretation of Season 6 chronological order of Miraculous (no spoiler version)

Bunnyx is featured on the poster because she is the guardian of the timeline.

I'll make an explained version later. I first need to write it.

EDIT: Before anyone else chimes in with “it should be a little earlier” or something like that, I have a specific placement in mind. I'm fine with you pointing out major inconsistencies, but only if you back it up with an argument. I guess I shouldn't have posted without explaining myself first.

u/MrNoahReddit — 21 days ago

“Secret Protocol” airs on Saturday, August 1, on Gloob

This is likely a date set by Miraculous so that the episode would premiere on the same day in two countries.

We were wrong about the Season 7 synopsis [Season 6 finale & Season 7 spoilers]

Synopsis

During the first episodes of season 7, Marinette's personal life is turned upside down: she discovers new allies she can rely on and to whom she can speak more openly than ever. Unfortunately for her, she also learns that certain people around her are not who they claim to be, and could very well betray her at the first opportunity. At the same time, her relationship with Adrien takes a new turn: no longer able to bear hiding more and more secrets from him, Marinette makes the choice to reveal the unthinkable to her lifelong love...

--

Analysis

>During the first episodes of Season 7, Marinette’s personal life is turned upside down:

We glossed over this detail too quickly. Unless it’s simply the central theme that will be developed later on, as suggested by the two dots.

>she discovers new allies she can rely on and with whom she can speak more openly than ever

Possibly her parents, who know she is Ladybug; the possibility that Cat Noir or Adrien might discover her identity has also been raised (if the Miraculous Cat Noir doesn’t come along and ruin everything again).

But maybe it’s not a matter of trusting someone new who now knows her identity.

>Unfortunately for her, she also learns that certain people around her are not who they claim to be

1. “certain people” in the PLURAL! Unless it’s just to make the sentence sound nicer.

2. “around her” doesn’t necessarily mean a member of the Miraculers; it could be, but it’s not confirmed.

>and could very well betray her at the first opportunity.

“First opportunity” suggests that the traitor has been in a double agent for a while and hasn’t yet committed the actual betrayal in the literal sense.

Also: “COULD” in the conditional tense! Maybe that person won’t do it.

>At the same time, her relationship with Adrien takes a new turn: no longer able to bear hiding more and more secrets from him, Marinette makes the choice to reveal the unthinkable to her lifelong love...

Whether it’s her secret identity, the truth about her father or something else. That’s not the subject of this post.

--

What interests us is the traitor (my theory)

There could be several of them. They aren’t necessarily part of the Miraculers. They might not actually betray her. I’d like to point out that the synopsis actually says Ladybug will LEARN that someone might betray her, and doesn’t focus on the act of betraying.

My personal theory is that the synopsis implies that Ladybug will discover (either from Nathalie or somehow else) the existence of The Kingdom and Nathalie’s involvement in that organization. She will then realize that Nathalie, whom she trusted, is actually caught between two sides: she claims to be on Ladybug’s side, but belongs to an enemy organization.

Nathalie is in a bind. Up until now, she’s led The Kingdom to believe she’s on their side, but she hasn’t revealed Ladybug’s identity, which is exactly what The Kingdom wants. On the other hand, she hasn’t told Marinette anything about the organization’s existence either. I don’t think Nathalie will betray Ladybug (at least not right away, and certainly not of her own free will) but Ladybug will still find out that Nathalie is involved and will have to be wary.

Why does the Moddler want the Stellar Matrixes?

I know this topic will be explored in the spin-off, but I’d like to hear your theories.

Since the Stellar Matrixes are described as fragments, I assume that there was once a large Stellar Matrix somewhere in space and that it was shattered. The Moddler probably wants to recover the fragments to reassemble the large Stellar Matrix, but why?

We can see a similarity to the main series, where Hawkmoth akumatizes civilians in order to recover the Miraculous of the Ladybug and the Black Cat so he can unite them to make a wish. Here, the Moddler transforms civilians into Kaijus in order to recover the fragments of the Stellar Matrix so he can unite them. But to do what? Which power does the large Stellar Matrix grant ?

It can’t be a wish like with the Miraculous, so what power will he gain?

Interview with the French voice actors for Marinette and Adrien

I've added a spoiler tag just in case. The video is in French, but English subtitles are available.

This line would have had more impact if someone else had said it [QUEEN OF THE DREADZONE SPOILERS]

I don't think I've ever used this flair before.

The straw that broke the camel’s back and triggered Chloe’s akumatization was this line from Marinette: "You’re the one who’s ridiculous, Chloe. Utterly ridiculous!"

I don't think Marinette should have said that line, especially since she already said it at the end of Revolution. She had already clashed with Chloe, even if the context was different. There was no point in doing a remake.

On the other hand, Sabrina never dared to say anything like that to Chloe,(unless I’m mistaken or she said it under the influence of a villain’s powers). Just before that, Sabrina had subtly announced that she had definitively severed her ties with Chloe when she said, “Thank you, Chloe!”

It should have been Sabrina who delivered the line "You’re the one who’s ridiculous, Chloe. Utterly ridiculous!". Hearing her say it to Chloe would have been masterful, powerfully underscoring the severing of their bond.

Would you like to see duo transformation sequences ? [THE CHAINED TITANS SPOILERS]

I know that transformation sequences are something Miraculous can no longer afford to include in every episode, but what do you think?

Now that we’ve seen (almost) everyone’s transformation sequences, would you like to see the same one again in another episode, or would you prefer a new one?

I’m not talking about showing two different sequences simultaneously, each in a corner of the screen, but rather having their “choreography” during the transformation be a duo.

The symbol for the final pause and the background would be those of the unifications sequences.

I don't think we'll see the Supreme in the Stellar Force spin-off.

I know many people defend the viability of the Stellar Force spin-off by claiming that the Supreme will be a relatively prominent character in it, but I don't think that will be the case.

In the Tokyo special episode, we do see the Moddler talking with the Supreme, who claims to have given him his powers. In the spin-off, the heroes will face off against Kaijus and other monsters that function similarly to what we saw in that special. I don’t think I’m wrong in saying that the spin-off (or at least its first season) will adopt an episodic structure: the transformation of civilians into Kaijus in Tokyo will serve as the episodic formula, just as the akumatization of civilians in Paris does for the main series.

As a result, the Supreme doesn’t really have a place in the direct progression of the story: his role was limited to granting powers to the Moddler. So yes, he was teased in the special, but in my opinion, it’s exactly like the cliffhanger at the end of Season 5. Whether or not there’s a connection to the Supreme, that event had a major impact on Season 6 without obviously appearing on screen. I think it will be exactly the same for this spin-off.

Do the spoiler policy rules apply to spin-off miniseries?

This type of series isn’t that big of a deal, so many people don’t mind getting spoiled, but should we still tag them as spoilers?

I’m thinking specifically of the miniseries Miraculous Chibi and Miraculous Secrets (the latter might seem innocent at first glance, but it quickly teases certain things about future episodes).

The Miraculous World episodes are considered full-fledged episodes in their own right, but what about the Stellar Force spin-off? Unlike Miraculous Chibi, it actually takes place in the quantum universe.

So do we have to use spoiler tags?

Adrinette will break up in the future, but it has nothing to do with the lie about Gabriel Agreste

This is a long-term theory about the series. So Adrinette isn’t going to break up this season (and maybe not at all, since this is just a theory). This is the first time I’ve analyzed characters, so I’m not sure if I’m doing this right.

I’ll include a TL;DR at the end.

---

First, there’s Adrien…

Adrien is a teenager whose behavior has been dictated to him his whole life, particularly by his father. He’s a teenager who’s never had the chance to figure himself out, who’s never had the opportunity to find his own identity. He doesn’t know who he really is.

His whole life, his father has destined him for a career as a model. He was forced to adopt the personality that was imposed on him: someone who is handsome, charming, calm, polite, generous, patient…

One day, he was entrusted with the Black Cat’s Miraculous, which allowed him to become Cat Noir. Admittedly, even as Cat Noir, Adrien hasn’t yet had the chance to discover himself or develop his own personality. But he has at least had the opportunity to break free from the chains that were placed upon him. He’s been able to discover a side of himself that suits him better, one he likes more. As Cat Noir, Adrien is funny, a joker, talkative, a bon vivant, and laid-back (but not calm).

One day, Cat Noir briefly became Cat Walker. He adopted a more serious, helpful, and humble demeanor, one that was less talkative and playful. In his Cat Walker form, Adrien embraces his model persona a little more: a personality that suits him less, but is what Ladybug demands of him.

---

Then, there’s also Marinette…

As for Marinette, she loves Adrien. But at first, she loved the model version of Adrien. Why? Because of all the qualities I mentioned earlier. She’s completely under his spell. What she doesn’t know is that this “model Adrien” personality isn’t the real Adrien.

She likes Cat Noir, but she isn’t in love with him because he doesn’t have the qualities she’s looking for. She’s not interested in jokers. And then she met Cat Walker. What Ladybug doesn’t know is that Cat Walker and Cat Noir are the same person. Little Adrichat, we don’t realize it, but he’s matured. When he saw that his lady wasn’t doing well, he was there for her even though she’d neglected him for weeks. Since that day, Cat Noir has remained true to himself, but he’s started cracking a few fewer jokes, and most importantly, he’s been able to prove to Ladybug that he’s also someone who’s loyal, very brave, and always there for her.

Here we see that Maribug loves Adrichat for his “mature” personality, and isn’t in love with Cat Noir because of his “prankster” behavior.

---

And together they make up Adrinette...

Adrinette is a really cute couple, but they’re just getting started. Marinette panics at the thought of ruining everything with Adrien over the tiniest little thing. Adrien enjoys Marinette’s company, but now that he’s free from his father’s grip, he’s still trying to find his footing.

Marinette helps Adrien develop as a person because she wants to make him happy. Throughout Season 6, Adrien discovers his passions, tastes, pleasures, and hobbies. Let me reiterate what I said at the beginning of this post: he was true to himself as Cat Noir, but he hadn’t yet fully developed his own personality. Over the next few seasons, he’ll continue this journey of self-discovery, and he’ll eventually forge his own personality. That’s all well and good, but that’s where the problem lies.

---

... but there will also be the breakup.

When things are going a little too well, keep in mind that everything is ephemeral… (I had to use that word. “Ephemeral.” Just like the episode, because it’s the same thing.)

Adrien is going to change his personality. And as I said, we all know that Marinette is looking for a very specific type of personality. So Adrien will always see Marinette the same way, but the feeling isn’t mutual.

You’re going to tell me that Adrien has already started to change in Season 6, and yet Adrinette is still going strong. But that’s because Marinette didn’t see it coming. Marinette puts pressure on herself not to let their relationship fail. She does everything she can to help Adrien find a passion; she does everything she can to act like a successful couple with Adrien; she does everything she can to become friends with Adrien’s friends; she does everything she can to make every moment with Adrien magical, to the point of believing in superstitions; she does everything she can to support Adrien on tough days, and so on. Ultimately, she puts pressure on herself by doing everything she can to make Adrien happy with her. But has she ever asked herself, even once, if she’s happy with Adrien?

---

How do you realize when you’re no longer in love? How do you know if you truly love someone?

What if the best way to find out were to start over from scratch? What if the best way to find out were to forget everything and start all over again? Would it work?

Let’s imagine that Marinette gives up her role as the Guardian and loses her memory. She’ll forget that she’s in a relationship with Adrien. Adrien will always love Marinette, but will Marinette still love him in return? Adrien will chase after Marinette if she forgets him, but will Marinette chase after Adrien?

---

TL;DR

Marinette loves Adrien for his model-like personality, and that’s why she doesn’t like Cat Noir. But Adrien is going to learn to grow as a person and change his personality. So Marinette won’t realize it right away, but she won't love Adrien anymore.

---

I wrote all that, and in the end, the show will wrap up and they’ll never have broken up…

Does anyone understand what's going on with that... THING? [Secret Protocol spoilers and leaks]

Recently, this image popped up on social media with a countdown timer (for Secret Protocol?). No one understood what the object in the image was until it was discovered that it’s in Marinette’s bedroom.

In the first few episodes, this object isn’t there. In later episodes, it appears on her desk, to the left of the sewing machine. In the most recent episodes, the object has moved and is now to the left of Marinette’s computer.

I saw DesignTracker investigate this, but I don’t understand any of it.

Some speculate that it’s a baby monitor, and that it sends an alert to Marinette’s phone if someone sneaks into her room. That explains why she makes the connection to something and goes up to her room when she looks at her phone.

Does anyone understand something?

Congratulations everyone!

I found this on social media. The fandom has gone so off the rails lately that we're actually glad we made it through this period...
