Guys after oil change and filter oil level does not drop when engine idle as before, before bike servicing oil was going away . (Bike upright but with slight lean so engine oil level correct at the max line when engine off and exactly upright)
Hi everyone, if i have oil filter bypass valve issue (possibly) on the motorcycle and while engine idling oil does not dissapear from sight glass (noticed that after 2-3 hours ride), what does it mean, valve stuck in the position open or closed and if I didn’t get any check engine light or oil pressure light should I worry about oil starvation during that trip ?
Hey guys , during engine operation when engine idle oil do not disapear from sight window of yamaha mt09 2025 is it normal ? I was always observing that oil disappear right after engine starts but after last oil change it stays there just drop little bit between max and min when engine running and I noticed that oil filter seal probably was incorrect seated or something like that because I wiped by finger spot between oil filter and engine connection spot and noticed little bit oil on the finger ( literally 1 small drop amount), I decided to change the filter and new filter seated good and after starting engine oil from sight window disappear completely as usual , so filter was defective and I had not enough oil circulation in the system or it’s normal when level visible in the sight window during normal engine operation?
