Is it frowned upon to order items on Amazon at a cheaper price?

I plan on going to a rodeo sometime next month and I told my friend (M29) that I plan on buying my outfit from Amazon because the price is a lot cheaper. I plan on getting some boots($60), a hat($25), and a belt buckle($13). He told me it’s frowned upon to buy items on Amazon because it’s not “real and authentic” western wear. If I were to go to my local western wear shop, the price of everything I just listed is at least 2 times the price in store.

Is it ok for me to order from Amazon or do I have to go to an official western wear store ?

I want to learn how to dance Norteñas. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can learn?

I (M25) am African American , live in Florida and I don’t know any friends that know how to dance Norteñas. There are a couple of Hispanic night clubs in my area and I’ve always wanted to go in and dance Norteñas. Sadly there are not any Norteñas classes in my area.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can learn how to dance Norteñas ?
