Accounting Major Scheduling for a Six Class Semester - Opinions Wanted
I'm an incoming junior transfer from community college. Per my advisor, between professional accountancy major requirements, business core, and three upper division GE classes, I'll have to take five classes each of my four semesters, plus squeeze in an extra one at some point (not including the one unit Excel cert. class). I'm enrolled in six classes this semester and not terribly stressed at the idea of Acct. 350 but I want to set myself up for success.
Is it a bad idea to take six classes in my first semester at CSUN as I take Acct 350? Would I be better off pushing one class off to another semester once I get my footing?
Is it worth paying an extra $1,551 to take over a summer? - not ideal for me but technically could.
What are my fellow professional accountancy majors doing in regard to this?
Thanks in advance!
