Can’t decide

I’m paralyzed in deciding between a YS640, a searwood xl, and a Lone Star Grillz pellet smoker. I like that you can burn pellets and wood chips in the LSG; it seems to put out the best bbq (from reviews). From what I can tell, both the Searwood xl and the Yoder put out similar quality food, with an edge to the Weber on both price and ease of cleaning. The Yoder seems to have build quality and good technology going for it (not unlike the LSG). LSG is more expensive, and it has a long lead time, but when you add in accessories, the Yoder isn’t too far from it. So, like I said, I’m stuck. 😁Appreciate anyone’s $0.02. TIA.

LTT PX4cc

I just took mine to the range for the first time. U/langdontactical aren’t joking. It is absolutely like having a cheat code. Could have spun me around and then blindfolded me, and I still would have shot tight groups. Thing is BUTTER.

Trigger work near Chicago

I just picked up my second HK (👏), a P30LS. I bought a short reset system, GG flat trigger, and a 12lb hammer spring to spruce things up a bit. Wondering if anyone near the Chicago area has any gunsmith recs. I was going to send it to LTT, but was curious if there were any smiths in the area that did quality HK work. TIA.

First time you took kids to the range.

I’m wondering when some in the sub with kids first took them to the range. My boy is 7; he’s a smart kid. I have taught him firearm safety, he knows how to disassemble pistols, and safe handling. Haven’t taken him to the range yet. I think I’d get a .22 for him to start on. Thanks in advance…

Vantage comp px4 carry

Hey,
Just ordered an LTT px4 carry and was considering a vantage comp for it. Worth it? Seems like it’s more of a permanent attachment, not something you can remove easily on that spot (not sure why I had that idea). Anyway, just curious about others’ experiences with it. And does that change holster reqs? Thanks. 🙏
