PSA 84BB

Got my 84bb yesterday from PSA. Fantastic condition minus two deep scratches on the side and a tiny bit of holster wear.
I was expecting the worst and I’d say this matches the Very Good Condition PSA advertises.

Barrel looks shiny and new and I’d suspect it was rarely shot. Trigger feels veeeery heavy so we’ll see if cleaning her up and dry firing a bunch loosens up those old bones.

I’ve read of some getting triggers that are 4ish pounds SA and 8-9pounds DA. That‘d be a dream.
Bought some wood grips that’ll get here this weekend to give it that classy look.

Cerakoting the PSA 84BB burnt bronze

It’s currently stripped down and sand blasted. Can’t wait for it to be finished up! My homies over at Watermark Arms in Texas are doing a burnt bronze cerakote job on it, followed with a set of FDE/black Lok g10 grips. Can’t wait to post it up soon when it’s finished.

Anyone have a plug for threaded barrels for these guns?

Volker Flat Faced Trigger for Beretta 92 LTT Elite

Hello all, I am loving my LTT Beretta but I am curious about the Volker Flat Faced trigger. I love the trigger pull of my LTT i just prefer a flat faced trigger my questions are:

Is it a drop in solution?

Will it mess up the awesome trigger pull I have already with the LTT?

Will it need to have fitting done?

Has anyone experienced any issues with it?

Show examples of how it looks.

Pease let me know thank you!

Best upgrades for PX4 G-SD (Non LTT)?

Just picked up my new PX4 Storm for the rebate and wondering what I should upgrade either with the $100 rebate or $200 Beretta bucks. I have the G-SD non LTT edition and don’t know what Beretta included over the basic PX4.

Getting to know the 92

My first handgun was supposed to be a 92FS many years ago, but during the ban era all I could find were 10-round magazine versions, so I ended up going in a different direction.

Fast forward to today — my son recently picked up this 92FS in near-new condition from a local shop. I called Beretta and learned it was manufactured on 9/20/1995: Italian-made frame, U.S. assembled, all steel internals, and barely fired.

The moment I handled it, I understood why the platform has such a loyal following. The balance, the smoothness, the mechanical feel — it has a kind of personality that many modern pistols lack.

I liked it so much that I ended up ordering a Wilson Combat 92G Brigadier Tactical with the Action Tune package. Looking forward to finally spending serious time with the platform after all these years.

Funny how some guns come back into your life decades later and immediately feel familiar.

Vantage comp px4 carry

Hey,
Just ordered an LTT px4 carry and was considering a vantage comp for it. Worth it? Seems like it’s more of a permanent attachment, not something you can remove easily on that spot (not sure why I had that idea). Anyway, just curious about others’ experiences with it. And does that change holster reqs? Thanks. 🙏

LTT Elite Compact decent for smaller hands?

I typically wear small or medium gloves, and I’ve shot a M9 on a few occasions. One thing that I disliked was the trigger reach in double action. I could only really get the pad of my trigger finger on it unless I rotated my hand.

But I’ve been eyeing the LTT Elite Compact because it seems like a good do it all gun, and I like the idea of shooting DA/SA. But since it’s not a vertec frame I’m scared I’m gonna have a similar issue as I do on the M9.

So does anyone know whether the compact makes a difference in trigger reach compared to a full size frame?

Is the trade worth it?

I am looking at trading a revolver of mine for an Italian made beretta 92 inox ghost. The other party is saying it’s worth $1100 in this condition. He said the controls have some surface rust and there are 2/3 other blemishes that I cannot even see. Would y’all agree with that or is his math off? The revolver I’m trading is a practically brand new S&W 586 l comp with some extras.

Comp for 92XI?

Hey all! I’ve got 200 beretta bucks waiting to be used and I’m not sure whether it’s worth getting a threaded barrel and a comp for my 92XI.

It’s primarily a range toy, and I’m wondering how much of a difference a comp makes on these guns.

If the comp is worth it, which brand do you all recommend?
