A day late, but Happy 500th birthday Beretta. The 92FS is without any second thought, my favorite handgun. Being born in the 80's and growing up in the 90's, it was the good guy gun in movies and on TV. I grew up learning to shoot on my dad's 92FS and a Ruger MKII.

As the M9, it was also the gun my dad carried for a bit as an Air Force SP, and that I later carried in the Army along with an M4A1. It was at my side for most of my deployments and then later a Glock 19. I've carried them in IWB, OWB, and drop leg holsters. I've carried them with stock grips and Hogue wrap around grips.

If I could only have one handgun, it would choose the 92FS. Also, some of the holsters I've used over the last 20 years.

One of my long time favorites, the Warrior. And one that is quickly becoming a favorite, the Gold Combat I picked up the other week. More on that later.

As much as he loves going for rides in the Tacoma, he was ready to go home.

LMAO, dude two lanes over from me, his suppressor split in half with the first shot fired. Caught three front half of his can fly down range in my peripheral vision. Dude just got it and it was the the first round through. 🤣🤣💀💀

Company is called C4 Armory, he said it was a 3D printed can? Anyway, guess it lived up to its name. Might as well have been called Acme.

Just got it out of 72 hour Polis Prison and brought it home today. I got away with highway robbery with this, feel like I got away with something that I shouldn't have.

Kimber Gold Combat RL II, about a $2200 gun that Cabela's had for 699 used. When they rung it up, it was coming up as 550 before taxes and fees. Kid working in the gun room thought that was a mistake and was the price they brought it in for. Called in manager to verify it. Manager looked everything over for like 10 seconds, shrugged and said "I'm good with it". It was an offer I couldn't refuse, and now my TLE II and Warrior have a new sibling.

With the fit, finish, attention to detail, and shootability. The Gold Combat was their gun equal to the older TRP's. With a bull barrel and half rail, this is comparable to the TRP Operator. This one has a ledge rear sight that I kinda dig, as opposed to the adjustable tritium rear sight the TRP had.

See them on gunbroker for 1200-1800. It was just too good to pass up, deal of the year for me. Is it one of my Wilsons, no, but still stoked about it.

My gangster AF Shiba Inu, Deckard.

If you bought the Definitive Edition and saw that you still have to buy the new skins in the in game store. You can go back into the PS Store, AFTER the Definitive Edition downloads, and those packs will be marked "free". Hit can then buy them free and download them.

The Predator mission pack however was not free, you still have to buy that in the PS Store it looks like for $11 or $12

My Kimber Warrior I picked up back in 2013 a few months before another deployment to Afghanistan. Decided to put this old Pachmayr wraparound back on, i had them on the gun from 2013-2019. While they aren't my favorite grip set, they are comfortable, much prefer the VZ Gunner Grips.

I say MEU(SOC) ish, as the Warrior was based on the ICQB pistol Kimber made for Det One. As PWS in Quantico couldn't make enough MEU(SOC)'s quick enough to equip the new unit.

Have been carrying Glocks more the last few weeks. Staccatos have been starting at home.

One last rifle before the laws here in Colorado get even more stupid on 01 AUG. Now it sits in 72 hour Polis Prison.

I've been wanting an M1A, especially the SOCOM, for about 15 years but for one reason or another just never got around to getting one. LGS had one in stock with the Firstline Program, so I decided to finally snag one. I carried an EBR years and years ago, and part of why I wanted an M1A. Opted for the SOCOM because it's an M1A that's similar-ish in size as my AR's.

Really looking forward to this one.

Yesterday for the 4th, brought out one of the Staccatos, a 1911 and a Glock. Today, two of my 19's. My carry 19 (the Gen5) and my old Gen3.

Brought my Kimber Warrior (can't truly say enough how much I love this gun), one of the Staccatos, and one of the Glocks out today. 2nd photo, controlled pairs with the Kimber at 12 yards. I know some have had bad lung with Kimbers but thing thing has always shot like a dream for me.

Picked the Kimber up in 2013 just before my 3rd deployment to Afghanistan. Got it refinished a few years ago and slowly putting wear back on it. While I mainly carry my Staccatos, still enjoy shooting my 1911's.

He knows he's about to get kibble and chimkin!

Deckard and I vibing at one of his favorite parks.

Happy Birthday Deckard! Today my little guy turned 4. Today was ALL about him. He likes going for rides so we went for a long ride and drove to Buc-ee's. Today we got him new bowls, 3 new toys, and 3 Chick Fil-A nuggets with his dinner.

He's a crazy little Shibe, and a menace at times, but I love the little dude!

Kimber Warrior I picked up in Jan 2013 a few months before a deployment to Afghanistan. Of all of the 1911's I've owned, this is a top 3 for me and a long time favorite.

Debating if I want to put the original GI guiderod and plug back in. Currently have a full length guiderod and plug in it. Don't have the original grips anymore, lost them years ago, they sucked anyway.

Got it re-finished a few years ago, slowly putting wear back on it and bringing it back into the carry rotation here and there. Actually really enjoy carrying it during summer, easy to conceal under a t-shirt or polo.

It's that anniversary again, 15 years now. With the rumors of why the photos can never be released. Usually I would say it's abhorrent, distasteful, and unprofessional. But in this instance, I'm more than okay with it.

Deckard resting on his side of the couch. He also hates it when I brush him with the furminator, even though I try to tell him it's necessary to keep him looking good.
