I'm officially a 9-year-old good boy today!

Begrudgingly

Hey guys i’ve been struggling with this issue for the last year, my boy ryu has been snappy with us and usually he’s really nice and sweet he’s 4 years old and we neutred him when he was 3. We always say bye and touch his head or hug him before we leave the house but now when we do that he snaps or growls. Now we see the signs when we say bye to him before we touch him such as ( whale eyes, flattening ears , and tilting head down, showing of teeth) but my mom has gotten bitten twice and i have once. He lets us touch him and talk to him with no issues except his trigger words are shower and saying bye before we leave the house. i tried reccomending my parents about taking him to a behaviorist but they dont believe in it and think it’s a waste of money and to try and correct him myself. Any tips or helps please? :( (not to mention he gets very sweet and follows us and shows his belly as if he feels bad right after)

Today i relapsed with alcohol. It has been a 2 year process and my record has been just a few months. This time it was only about a week. But once again i look down and see my little sheebs at my feet. She might not be as expressive as my husky mix lol but she is just as emotionally intelligent. I love that girl🤧

Anyone else’s Shibas HATE the rain? It was a rough day for us in central Florida with all. Day. Rain. 😩

She celebrated by getting out of our fence for the first time… we found her casually strolling beside another dog and their owner. Scariest 10 mins of my life.

That’s very interesting—do you fly with your Shibas? I travel a lot and take Lila with me; she does wonderfully on train and car trips (we’ve even done 2,200 km journeys). However, we haven’t flown yet, and I’m quite worried about how she’d handle the flight. Please share your experience.
