That’s very interesting—do you fly with your Shibas? I travel a lot and take Lila with me; she does wonderfully on train and car trips (we’ve even done 2,200 km journeys). However, we haven’t flown yet, and I’m quite worried about how she’d handle the flight. Please share your experience.

Look ahead, I've got your back.

Out in the countryside, Lilu is very vigilant and takes on the role of guarding the territory; in the city, she is a laid-back city dog.

A morning warm-up)))I have an important question regarding the weight of your Shiba Inus. Lilu weighs 12 kg( 26,4 lbs )Please share your experience.

She is indeed large: her size is comparable to that of an average male Shiba Inu (she looks very much like her father). The thing is, she gets plenty of vigorous exercise (walking 10–15 miles a day) and eats only 140 grams of food daily (including treats), yet her weight isn't dropping. The vet says she is fine, but the nutritionist says she needs to lose weight (Lilu has been on a weight-loss diet for six months now). Please share your experiences.

Here’s what my Shiba Inu looks like when I unsuccessfully try to explain to her that she’s a dog, not a princess.

Shiba Lilu hasn't yet decided whether she is a hare or a fox.
