DEVGRU training with 160th SOAR in downtown Chicago
DEVGRU 2017
The title says 2017 but should’ve been 2019 🤦🏻♂️ Since it was brought up with a pic of CAG responding to the same event I figured I would share a popular pic from then as well. To my knowledge this was one of the first images of DEVGRU using their Noveske N4 and the SIG P320 variants. It wasn’t the first ever pic but again one of the first showing them “in the wild” as the cloners like to say.
Kurt Casey, Member of D Squadron
Kurt Casey was born on May 7, 1983 in West Virginia. he enlisted in the United States Army in December 2000, straight out of high school. Nine months later, September 11th changed the trajectory of his life—and deepened what had already begun as a desire to serve.
He first served as an enlisted Soldier, then earned his commission as an Infantry Officer after graduating from West Virginia University.
In 2009, he completed the rigorous Special Forces Selection and Qualification Course, earning the coveted Green Beret. He would go on to deploy multiple times with the Special Forces Regiment across the Middle East and throughout Central and South America.
Later, with encouraged by his mentor, General Austin Miller, he successfully completed selection for the Army’s most elite Special Missions Unit at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. There, he spent the remainder of his career operating at the tip of the spear, supporting national-level contingency operations worldwide.
Kurt uesd served as Austin Miller's Executive Officer at Fort Benning in 2015 and Afghanistan in 2019.
After more than two decades of selfless service, Kurt is scheduled to retire from active duty this year.

Aimpoint Winners Posters on eBay. Link to Auction in comments
Not my Auction.
I always wanted one of these.thought this was a postcard or magazine ad. Today I learned it’s a 22x16 poster from back in the day. I found a seller on eBay that listed a few for sale back in March and messaged him to see if he had any more. I bought a couple and figured Some of you like minded animals might be interested. They are $18+$12 shipping in a poster tube and he will combine shipping on multiples.

Unit ID and what looks to be an 11.5?
Anyone know what unit the guy on the far right is in this picture with Adam Brown? Also, he looks to have an 11.5" CQBR. The barrel is longer in front of the FSB (front sight base) than a normal 10.5".
