I just got my motorcycles permit and I’ve been using my friends ctx700 to learn on. I want to get a sport bike so of course I’m looking at the ninja 500. A lot of people say to get a used bike for your first one, but I will be buying it with cash either way. All of the listings for used tend to be $4800+ when a new one is about $1000 more. Is it really worth getting a used one that I don’t know how it was treated when a new one isn’t that much more?
