IBS (school trigger?)

Does anyone have school aged kids with IIH and IBS?

I feel like school is definitely a trigger and I have no idea how to manage that this school year. My kiddo can miss 2-3 days a week because of her feeling sick. The doctors tell me that she needs to go to school and push through, but she just ends up going to the nurse and then coming home. Not getting any help from the doctors or the school on how to manage it. Does anyone have experience with this? Do we just bring home homework? Switch to online schooling? Due to school policy she needs to be throwing up or have a fever to be sent home and not have it counted against her attendance.

Slowly starting to harvest food

It's been a good week! That week with the really bad wild fire smoke definitely slowed things down. But, we're picking back up. The scale picture is how much that bag of potatoes weighed. Russian Banana Fingerling and a couple of pink gypsy (I think). All from a 6ft by 4ft bed. There's another bed with purple magic potatoes in it but those got planted later.

Raspberries are from the community school garden. I've picked off that bush at least 4 times now. I try to wait for the day to cool down. It hit 90°F in town today. Even with my neck fan on, it's 🥵

Treatments IGIV/ steroids

Has anyone had IGIV and/or steroids for Systematic inflation?

We went to the nueurologist today and he read the report from the ophthalmologist and said "oh, the eye nerves are still slightly swollen, but within "normal" range. Um, no, can they not be swollen at all!?

Any who, we seen intergrative medicine earlier in the day and she seemed way more open to digging deeping into what has caused my daughter's issues, specifically her current GI issues. We're ruling a bunch of things out, but I'm wondering if this might be an option for her condition. Just looking for thoughts on it or lived experience. Not seeking medical advice. Just need someone or a group to bounce ideas off of. I am still learning.

Connection to other issues

Are there connections to GI distress linked to optic neuropathy, Idiopathic intracranial hypertension, and/or functional neurological disorder?

Looking for experience or research or medical papers available to the public.
