I'm Tired.....

Please hear what I'm saying......

I truly understand life happens. We get sick, our children get sick, the unavoidable happens. People also deserve to take vacations and time away. But when the same people call out of work every other week, the rest of the staff picking up their slack will start to get tired of it. Not to mention....these kids are acting out 10x more because of all the inconsistency of staffing!

Did I mention it is only the second week of the new school year?

Hiring Process

Hi everyone!

For those who are currently employed at Citi, how long did it take to hear back after applying? What does the interview process involve and how can I best be prepared? For context, I'm applying for the Fraud Specialist position. Thank you!

Gentle Hands

This post is for all the toddler teachers (or really anyone who might have helpful tips):

What are some ways you teach the concept of gentle hands to the children?

Our classroom (18-24 months) has a few friends who are REALLY struggling with the concept. Pushing is one of the biggest things we deal with, but they also hit/pull hair on the regular as well. We constantly remind them to use gentle hands, model soft touches, and reinforce with hugs/high fives when they do engage roughly with each other. They are also into baby dolls, so we've tried this as well without much success. A situation just happened yesterday that resulted in a child being injured by another child, and an upset parent (understandably so).

What has worked with your littles?
