Finally got around to watching Dune

Finally took the time to sit down and watch Dune. For reference I’m not a huge sci fi fan but I can appreciate it. I remember watching the one from 2000 but I never watched the 80s one because I was too young (45F for context)

First of all Timothee Chalamet is a very handsome young man, I can see what the fuss is about in my mom friend groups.

But importantly, there were so many parts of the movie I just didn’t follow. I had a tough time understanding the different factions and the different politics. On top of that I had a tough time following what was going on. Is this the kind of movie where I needed knowledge of the books going into it? Or the type of movie that needs to be watched more than once?

Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful movie and I want to keep watching the second one in preparation for the third one. But I just want some help appreciating it!

Need help with recipes! What to do with ground chicken?

My (45F) son (18m) was on this health kick right before he moved to college and he bought pounds of ground chicken. Now I’m left with all those frozen ground chicken in the house and I need recipes. Every time I’ve tried using ground chicken in any dish it always feels like a downgrade from ground beef or pork. Any suggestions?
