Man what i would do for a season 2 reimagined and have Nick become a more prominent character. I do think Nick is by far the most unique character out of the cabin survivors and yes as much as I love luke and clems bond I can help but loved the direction of the bond clem and nick had throughout the game. He seemed like someone who was never understood, never had support and the fact that people crack him up to be just a ben 2.0 is kind of disappointing considering how I feel like he’s more than just that. Nick has gone through alot prior to meeting him and many people seem to nudge it even the cabin survivors dont seem to truly care about nicks mom dying or dont empathize with nick the fact how he loses not only his mother but his uncle. But i guess we can sum it up to the rushed writing in szn 2 considering how when nick dies no one cares at all or showing little reaction. The first 2 episodes clearly focus on building not only luke but nicks character and how he see his impulsivity and his need to actually do something right, so when they kill him off so abruptly it felt off. A character who struggles with low self esteem, and is hot tempered who could’ve easily been a more memorable character towards the end of the season by giving him the time and arc he truly deserved. Not only should he have been more prominent but he should’ve died in lukes place maybe helping someone else and have luke vs kenny be the deciding choice at the end.
