A helping hand...

Recently, my son and I were placed in a temporary shelter house through a stabilization program where we were to be provided a case worker who would help us 1) get food 2) connect with social services and housing resources 3) establish therapy and 4) help with transportation. Long story short, we have been ghosted or blown off for over a week now. Yes, we reach people. They tell us they'll be by that day, or the next, yet no one shows. We've had 3 caseworkers now and each one has done this. We did receive minimal help with food from local banks, but not enough to get us through til Tuesday and food banks and offices are closed now for the weekend.

If there's any folks willing to help us with some food and drinks, we would be incredibly grateful. I've made a little Amazon list so items can be purchased directly rather than asking for money.
