Friendly reminder to applicants

Please fix your resumes/CVs.

Recently, I rejected several applicants for a role because based on their CVs, wala silang relevant experience. Then nag-message yung referrers for reconsideration because meron naman daw silang experience bakit na-reject.

Recruiters and hiring managers can only assess what’s WRITTEN on the resume. Hindi kami manghuhula ng hidden experience. If you have relevant experience: state it clearly, add tools/systems used, mention scope/volume and include achievements if possible.

A badly written CV can literally make you look unqualified even when you’re not. I know job seekers are frustrated with the hiring process and HR/Recruiters. But one thing that’s fully within your control is making your experience easy to understand on paper.
