Recommendation

Friends of mine are looking for a vac-mop for their 2400 sf home.

Floors are commercial vinyl wood, tile & carpet.

Functions they would like - schedule vac-mop, self cleaning & drying mops, camera w/ patrol function.

No pets.

Would appreciate the community’s recommendations.

Thank you for your guidance.🙏

ARRT - WE HEARD YOU: LIMITED TECHNOLOGIST CHANGING TO LIMITED TECHNICIAN

Last fall we reached out to R.T.s and others in the broader community in a public Call for Comments survey about proposed updates to our 2026 Governing Documents.

These changes included requirements for our new credentials: Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance, I.A.(MR) and Limited Technician (L.T).

Respondents told us they preferred the term “Limited Technician” to our proposed Limited Technologist credential for these reasons:

- Technician better captures the work of the role

- Technician better aligns with similar positions in the field

- Technician better reflects the qualifications for the role

“We really listen to respondents and take these comments seriously,” says Liana Watson, ARRT CEO.

ARRT’s Board of Trustees agrees. As a result of this feedback, we’re changing the name of the credential to Limited Technician (L.T.).
