Mtf beard electrolysis concerns

Hi

I'm mtf trans, with blondie ginger facial hair and I'm 17 hours into having it removed. I'm getting the impression my electrologist is struggling removing my hair and I'm considering switching to someone else. I'm doing a 100mile round trip for each treatment. I do 2 hours once every 2 weeks and I pay £55/hour. I'd like to do more hours per visit but she's semi retired so won't do more than 2.

Things that worry me:

- A few sessions ago she was struggling to get the hairs to glide out of the right side of my face. I suggested turning the machine up but she said it's as high as it goes? Machine is a Apilus Senior

- She can't tell me what type of electrolysis I'm receiving (Thermolysis/blend/galvanic etc). Says the machine works that out itself?

- Pain varies a huge amount each time I go, I sometimes feel pain during the insertion before current is applied. When this happens I can almost guarantee the hair won't slide out. I guess this is due to improper insertion depth or angle?

- I experience a lot of plucking, I've brought this up and she says that she's accidentally pulling another hair with the tweezers that hasn't been treated. Which I think is understandable but it does seem to happen a lot. She's also mentioned the hairs all growing in different directions.

- Yesterday she bent 5 needles in a 2 hour session and said it's because my hair is so wirey?

- I will say I always seem to heal ok after treatment, it does take a week or so. The day after treatment I'll have redness, slight swelling and the odd pimple hear and there. My skin is pretty sensitive so I kind of expect this reaction.

Sorry for the long post. I feel absolutely lost and fed up with the whole experience and I know I've got a long road ahead of me. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated. Also any recommendations for electrologists in the north of England with experience removing male facial hair.

Thanks
