Mosquito flats backpackers camp / parking

My son and I are doing a 1-night backpacking trip in Little Lakes Valley and I was trying to figure out if I try and do a FCFS site at Rock Creek Lake Campground or just stay at the backpackers camp at Mosquito Flats. Thursday night we're staying at French Camp to acclimate a bit (my son is 3.5 years old so trying to play it safe). If we stay at Mosquito Flats, do we have to move our car to a different parking area in the morning before starting our hike into LLV?

Also, I have a car camping setup for my SUV. Are we able to sleep in our car (to avoid setting up a tent and what not) if we're at Mosquito Flats?

EU261 cancellation / delay question

So my wife had a flight on KLM routing SAN/AMS/ATH. She checked in and then about 18 hours before the flight they cancelled it (apparently a plane maintenance issue) and then re-booked her on Lufthansa (SAN/MUC/ATH). She arrived around 2hrs 40 min later than her original flight was supposed to. My understanding is that because the flight was cancelled within 7 days and she arrived more than 2 hours late that she was entitled to compensation. What I'm not clear on is whether it's 300E or 600E. KLM responded to us saying it's 300E, but AirHelp seems to think it should be 600E and Gemini originally told me that she should get the full 600E because the 50% reduction didn't apply because it was a cancelled/re-routed itinerary that exceeded 2 hours. I've tried researching this and honestly it's somewhat confusing and I've had a hard time finding anyone with a similar example. Just want to understand if I should push back and ask for the full 600E or not. Thanks!

Itinerary help and question about connecting time in ATH

So we're a family of 4 (with 3 and 9 year old kids) and planning a 16 night trip to Greece in the second half of July. I think we've decided on our itinerary for the most part but wanted a bit of a sanity check. We like food, beaches, history/ruins and hiking. Here's how I was planning on allocating the days:

Milos (5 nights)
Santorini (3 nights)
Naxos (5 nights)
Athens (3 nights)

I think the only things I'm grappling with is whether to take a night from Milos or Santorini (or both) to potentially add a night to Naxos (so that we could do a day tour to Delos/Mykonos and/or Paros/Antiparos) or a night to Athens so we could do a trip to Delphi. I know a lot of people recommend to skip Santorini or keep it to two nights, but my 9yo was the one who suggested the Greece trip because she wanted to see Santorini so I can't skip it but was also wondering if it's worth it for only 2 nights (things that interest me/us are the walk from Fira to Oia, the views, and Akrotiri).

It sounds like doing Milos->Santorini->Naxos is the best bet with the ferry schedules since doing it that way allows us to catch the larger Dionisios ferry between Milos and Santorini (avoiding Seajet which is likelier to get canceled). The only issue with that is that our flights get in to ATH at 1600 and 1630 (4 and 4:30PM, my wife is flying in separate from the kids and I) and the last flight to Milos is at 1905 (7:05PM). Sounds like 2.5 hrs is probably the minimum to get through passport control (flying in from the U.S.) and get to our connection so that doesn't leave us much time in case something is delayed (we'd be on separate tickets for the flight to Milos). Is that cutting it to close?

Really appreciate any advice as I know I'm planning this trip probably a lot closer in than most people would but that's our current reality in life when it comes to travel. Thanks in advance!
