My district in Florida uses Kelly for their subs (I believe most of Florida does) Minimum wage for Florida goes up to $15 an hour effective 9/1. The current daily rate of $115 for 7.75 hours of work subbing doesn’t meet $15 an hour. Will Kelly have to raise the daily rate to meet minimum wage? Not sure how it works with a daily rate but you’d think you still have to be paid minimum wage.

I have only subbed elementary and high school. Elementary is 7.75 hours, 7:30-3:15. High school is a little less, I think 7.5 hours. Usually 6:45-2:15. So high school jobs meet minimum wage if you break it down hourly, elementary does not.

My disbursement date for loans and Pell was 7/1, Pell moved to 7/2 and was disbursed on 7/2. Loans moved to 7/7. Now they’ve moved again to 7/8.. has anyone had this happen? It’s my 4th term and all of my financial aid has always disbursed on the 1st every term.

I’m just hearing about stolen refunds.. I am no longer able to update my bank info with nelnet online. I’m assuming these changes were made to combat theft? If we notice our banking info is changed how to we change it back since it’s not able to be done online? Is anyone else no longer able to change their banking info online? I also can’t update my phone number with nelnet online. I’m due a refund in a couple weeks and I’m nervous now!

With black ops 1&2 coming next month I was trying to recall a map from a cod game I used to play and I can’t find it at all. It’s insane. It’s a map with train tracks where you could go down the tracks in between the trains and run up and down (they didn’t move). It was a pretty open map leading up to the tracks. There was a building or house with a really popular window to snipe from where you could face the tracks and snipe people running to the tracks or just across the map bc it was pretty open from what I recall. I can’t find it for the life of me!! Does anyone recall this map or am I crazy? It’s not derail. It may not even be in black ops 1 or 2 but I thought it was. Could be modern warfare, WW2.. but Google is giving me nothing!

My next (and final) term starts July 1st. My loans show awarded for next term, but not the Pell. I’m not sure if this has ever happened before I’ve never looked at this section before. I typically only look where it shows all of the pending awards and balances due. Is it typical for loans to be awarded before Pell?
