When I got my GTO I got a killer deal on the Apollo V2. Even though I knew they were hit or miss I figured for the price even if I sunk another $4-500 into it would still be cheaper than most entry level ones and would be built how I wanted it. First thing took it and got a chunk port cut into it
So need advice I’ve done everything from buying the screws off ebay, to red loctite and no matter what after about 100 rounds my optic plate comes loose. I absolutely love the gun I’ve tuned the trigger polished all the internals. Have the marvel cut but optic always looses zero in a match cause the plate comes loose. Any suggestions? Thanks
My local gun store just became official dealers for them got their first shipment in of 6 guns and all were sold by 3pm of the day they put them out. 😞 I didn’t even get to check them out. Good news they kept one in their rental fleet and I got to run it today. I can say for the money that thing can run!!! Great trigger flat shooting thanks to the V8 porting just sold gun all the way around.
Was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the new Apollo V2 compact? Seen mix reviews online it from different videos so wanted to see if anyone in here actually owns one. I have the chance to get one at an even more of a steal but on the fence. Picture for reference.
I know many have changed their grip. I love the gun but the grip is just so fat for my hands. My Kimber Warrior DS and Fusion XP Pro fit my hands way better. What grip should I look at for the Mac that would be more like the other two. Thanks
Just got the new comped barrel in for the OG Pro like the added length and can’t wait to hit the range tomorrow and see how it shoots. I had a ported barrel in it previously but the 4” one so honestly thinking of getting this comped barrel ported as well. Barrel came straight from fusion took less than a week from when I ordered it to it arrived and easy install and love the way the lines flow. Both before and after photos the original barrel was silver while the comped is black as the silver were on back order but with the slide being black already liked the way it flows.
