Why does Brother Asterion want mea culpa?
This is a question that occurred to me while playing the DLC. The reasons why Brother Asterion wants the Mea Culpa sword seemed a bit vague. Could someone familiar with the lore explain it to me?

My save files disappeared out of nowhere for no reason. They're there in the game files, but not in the game itself. Can anyone help me?
I've already made this post before, but nobody has been able to help me, and this is the only thing preventing me from playing the game. What the heck happened to my map? Why isn't it showing up? There has to be a solution...

Basically, I've been playing for a while and I've noticed that I simply don't have a map (see image for better understanding). Is this a bug? Or does the map need to be unlocked? I can only see the map when I use fast travel. If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful.
