Filament Drying on Qidi Box
Hi
i´ve been trying to dry TPU and PA on the Qidi Box, but it doesn´t seem to be effective.
What´s your experience with drying those filaments on the Qidi Box and what other alternatives do you have?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been experiencing some persistent extrusion issues with my Bambu Lab P1S.
Here is what I have already tried to troubleshoot the issue:
Extruder disassembly: Checked the internal gears to ensure there were no hidden clogs or debris.
Nozzle cleaning: Cleaned it manually and performed several cold pulls (using PLA, PETG, and a dedicated cleaning filament).
Nozzle replacement: Completely swapped the hotend/nozzle for a new one.
Temperature & Environment: Tried printing at higher temperatures and with the enclosure open to rule out heat creep.
Despite these steps, the problem remains: the printer seems to extrude fine most of the time, but it randomly fails to deposit material in certain areas, leading to inconsistent layers and gaps.
Has anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions on what I should check next? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Last filament that I printed before the problem started was TPU.
Boas, malta
I'm a mechanical engineer looking for a printer that can reliably handle more demanding material (PA and PETG-GF, for example). Budget is around 1200€ (coming from an Ender 3 V3 KE that I used for a few years, so definitely a step up).
I've looked at the QIDI Q2 Combo, Plus4 Combo, the Bambu H2S (this one a little out of budget) and X2D Combos, and the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro. The QIDI options look really solid and well-priced but the Creator 5 Pro — multi extruder, enclosed chamber, high-temp hotend — is the one that genuinely excites me on paper. Problem is it's brand new with basically no real-world reviews and long shipping times, which makes me nervous.
The thing that's been living rent-free in my head though**: are multi-extruder setups about to become the standard?** The market feels like it's moving that way fast, and I'd hate to lock into a single-extruder machine now and regret it in a few months. But I also can't just wait forever.
Has anyone here actually run PA or fiber-filled filaments on any of these? Would you hold out for the Creator 5 Pro to get some real-world miles on it, or just move on to something available now?
