I was on the stray yesterday at 7.15pm, and most of it was still in direct sunlight. You could certainly see the sun, relatively high in the sky, from most of Harrogate.
There seems to be a lot of hand-wringing about where to stand to see the eclipse, going to Brimham Rocks, needing to be high up etc. Surely you can just stand on the Stray?
Hi! I'm running ghostship on Steam Deck with the sm64reloaded texture pack, but it currently looks like this.
I downloaded the latest o2r from github, placed it in the mods folder, and ticked enable alt textures in ghostship. But it looks like this! Any ideas? When I run the OG textures everything displays fine.
I just bought the point and click Humble Bundle, and I'm playing Syberia Remastered (a Unity title) on my Legion Go S Z2. I had read various Steam Deck reviews saying you can expect a solid 40fps on that machine, but I'm struggling to hit 20.
This is on the balanced profile, all settings at Low, resolution forced to 1280x800 in Steam OS. No upscaling.
If I crank it up to Performance mode, I get around 35fps, but I'd like to avoid that if possible because of the fan noise. And based on those Steam Deck reviews, I assumed it'd be fine on Balanced mode tbh! Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Absolute beginner with this stuff, so sorry if this is a silly question. I downloaded Aperture Desk Job on my Go S Z2 (Steam OS Edition). I know it's a Steam Deck tech demo, but I figured I'd get similar performance on the Z2. But for whatever reason, the Go is struggling to hit 50fps in Balanced. If I switch to Performance, I can just about maintain 60 (with a lot of stuttering), but isn't Balanced supposed to be roughly the same power draw as a Deck?
I thought the two devices were fairly evenly matched at that power level?
