Is it too early for applications for January’27?

Hi all,
So i am targeting job roles starting from January 2027 but hardly getting any interview calls.
From people who have landed jobs and have had recent experience in job search, do you think it is too early for applications? Or, it’s the same trajectory everyone goes through before getting that call?

RDMA + CUDA + What all skills can lead me to different job opportunities?

Hi All,

I am a Masters student in Germany currently pursuing my Master’s thesis.
I have experience with RDMA , CUDA, Profiling(Nsight systems/compute) and MPI(introductory level). Also, expanding my knowledge with K8s and Docker but not production level experience.

I have started searching for full time roles in Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands.
I want to understand the following -

1.) What type of different roles i can land into? And, what skills might be required for each such trajectory?
2.) Are there opportunities for GPU Networking roles in Germany?

All this for a candidate having 3.5 years of software dev experience(not relevant to HPC).

Apple Embedded Developer interview process - 2026

Hi All,

I am prepping for full-time opportunities and wanted to know about the current embedded developer hiring process at Apple.

How many rounds are there?
With the increasing use of AI in interview processes, do they still use DSA problem-solving as one of the interview rounds, or are they more towards AI-assisted problem-solving?

Any leads would be helpful.

Thanks, Ciao! :)

Hey dad, I am almost there but still intertwined.

It starts with i liked someone who liked me too, but could not move ahead because she was committed. I slowly started asking less from her - a friendship, something that could be managed but we could not manage it. I started becoming deeply insecure about my position in her life. I left the country for my master's in 2024, and it was all too lonely. The harsh winters, changed surroundings, everything was too overwhelming. I seeked for some emotional support during this phase, but she changed in less than about 1 month.

She was no more committed in 2024, i wanted to make things normal with her. I bought a gift for her and the next time i visited her, she met me to say that she doesn't want to talk to me anymore and threw away my gifts. Next, i get to know that she was talking to her ex all this while, and now they have thought of marrying each other. All this when i was feeling way too lonely.

Since, parents got involved now, i thought of not getting into her way and stopped talking to her for 2 months. One day, i got to know that her ex cheated on her, marriage talks broke off, and then she started talking to me. She was okay thinking abt marriage with me and i was not as convinced as I was before. I wanted to ask her questions about our compatibility, but as soon as i started talking her parents got involved. I was feeling pressured thinking that the situation now demands more from me than I am certain of . I could not make her parents or her go through the turmoil the other guy made them go through- basically, the emotional weight they had to go through when things were called off.

Even after mentioning it multiple times, she didn't do anything about it, and then I had to say that I can't marry her. It ended with a bad quarrel. I didn't want to waste her time or hurt her parents.

2 months went by, I was somewhat ready to proceed things with her, given the fact that she is not seeing someone else, but now she doesn't want to. I am kind of always thinking that the problems between me and her were always because of third situations and not us. I am grieving a thing where I had to make things over for reasons I didn't want, I would have wanted it to end only if there were incompatibilities in what I wanted in a wife.

I feel anger, stop talking to her, then feel anger ties you to something, then try to act normal but then end up caring for her, and it creates a loop.

As said earlier, i am almost there but how do I get out of this intertwined state?
