Bristol is falling apart
The Pero's Bridge incident is just the latest in a long line of "structural failures" in Bristol.
The New Cut along Coronation Road is currently being surveyed, and the Council say that a 1KM stretch will have to be reinforced or they may have to close one lane of Coronation Road permanently.
The Council have made it clear that they don't spend enough money on maintenance and are effectively following a policy of "managed decline".
