Throwaway account for anonymity. Has anyone successfully been approved for a medical accommodation for hybrid work due to Hashimotos disease? I submitted my AWA renewal request and am fully anticipating a rejection. Wondering if I should start the process now with my doctor, identifying my symptoms, which include crushing fatigue, dry eyes and nose bleeds (office air makes it worse), anxiety, depression, joint pain and symptoms of IBS.
I've had this disease since I was a kid but the older I get, the less effective my medication is it seems. If possible, can you let me know what your accommodation looks like, as it would be helpful to know what to expect.
