I was allotted iit indore CSE branch at iit indore in round 1 of JOSSA and I was wondering whether Iit indore will take over iit bhu in the next 4 years (in terms of placements and closing rank) similar to how iit hyderabad (despite being newer iit) has recently taken over iit guwathi (likely because of location) since iit indore is just below iit bhu as of now.

I would really like to hear seniors' opinion on this.

Edit: Also would iiti be considered tier 1 or 1.5/2 according to you? (I have seen it being called both)

Round 1 (diversity pool) (CSE) - 99.8143548 percentile

How much lower do you think CSE cutoff will go down for diversity pool ?

I was hoping cutoff would be similar to last year's (but I know that last year was exceptional) and am stressed i still won't get a seat after round 2 with 99.80 percentile. :(
