Located in the Pearl District (lovely father’s market on weekends). Hotel Emma is a converted brewery with lodging, meeting rooms, a shop, and of course a library accessible for hotel guests (room card is the key).
I bought a Low Battery Baymax Tsum ten years ago. I’ve included him in my EDC; I was dealing with a terminally ill family member at the time and holding a little hacky-sack type plush helped. I took him to a coffee shop stop after the hospice facility, then furniture shopping on my last day of bereavement leave (my dad wanted new furniture so he wouldn’t be reminded of the sofas my late mother used). I even stuffed Baymax in my rear jeans pocket on a vacation trip two years later, staining him blueish but I got most of the stains out. He took a ride in the washing machine (placed in a lingerie net) and I was able to dull the indigo dye to pale grayish.
I’ve collected some of the other Baymax Tsums, but low battery is my favorite. I even have a “Plan B” low battery spare in case something happens to the original. But Baymax rides around in my every day carry sling. It wasn’t until this morning I realized I’ve had this plush for ten years.
