People complain about many things when I post technique videos, as is tradition on the internet. The most surprising thing, though, is people who either complain, or mock the fact that techniques in Japanese arts have Japanese names. It's not the most common topic of discussion, but I'm surprised it comes up as often as it does.
Aside from virulent racism and cultural supremacy, anybody got any ideas why? Is it truly so pretentious to speak another language?
