My poor Great Danes reaction to all the fireworks yesterday.

My poor Great Danes reaction to all the fireworks yesterday.

My dog wasn't the biggest fan of the fireworks yesterday. Not to mention the parade with all the fire trucks!

When does it get better?

I've (41M) have been separated from my wife (41F) for 5 months. It seems early but every day is still a struggle. I didnt want any of this and I tried so hard to save everything. When does the hurt and pain go away? When do you stop crying once every day? When do you stop finding little things that normally would mean nothing but instead reduce you to tears? We were together for 20 years so this will take a long time I'm sure. What steps do you guys take to start feeling better about yourself? How do you feel better about yourself? Nothing is really giving me much joy at the moment. Even things that I used to love. I try my best to go out and meet some new people (friends or whatever else might come) but my self confidence is so shattered that I end up just kinda hanging out and not really talking to anyone. Sorry for the long post. Obviously nobody can give me an official date where things will be better. Just looking for advice I suppose.
