Should I leave the Final Girl I got as a gift for my friend or open it and sleeve it for them?
Hi there, I (29M) got a set of Final Girl core box, the Happy Trails Horror, the Marrek Murders and the Terror from Destiny expansions for my (28F) friends birthday, I'll be giving them to her later on this month.
I'm a huge fan of solo board gaming and wanted to gift the experience to my friend for her birthday, she's a big fan of horror and board games in general, usually goes to board game cafes with myself and others as part of a group of 4 or more.
I personally play a lot of Marvel Champions, Spirit Island and other fun games for solo play.
Because of this, I have a lot of excess sleeves and wanted to sleeve the copies of Final Girl and the expansions for my friend as she doesn't play TCGs or have access to these sleeves as easily.
Although I have no experience playing Final Girl, I have seen the action cards through unboxing videos and they look standard card size, so I was thinking of sleeving just those cards.
As solo board gamers, would you like a game given that's been opened but not played, just sleeved?
I'm happy to give her the games in the sealed packaging instead but I feel personally that it's much more fun to play games that have sleeved cards.
