I now understand why they say to lie about your due date

I have a (what i thought was lol) pretty chill family and set of friends, and never understood the advice of lying about your due date to avoid annoying questions as it gets closer. I am now fully understanding and wish I didn’t share my due date (or gave one with extra buffer)!

While I truly appreciate people checking in on me daily and know it comes from a good place (I get at least a couple of texts a day from different family members and friends), it started to irritate and stress me out.

”is the baby here yet?” “its getting close!” “why is it taking so long?” “tell the baby to come out already!”

I know some are meant to be funny and cheer me up, but when your body hurts, you can’t get good sleep, and every day is a waiting game of symptom spotting, it really gets to be a lot!

I found the most helpful messages that made me feel loved were simple “thinking of you!“ without further questions.

Just wanted to vent, and curious if anyone else felt this way.

Sweating

I’ve been sweating like crazy since about 24 weeks, to the point where I have to go through multiple outfit changes because my clothes are soaking wet. Has anyone figured out a solution to this??? I’ve tried different deodorants and antiperspirants, with no luck.
