I was NOT prepared for grade 10 physics...

Back when I was in grade 9, I developed a love for physics. I would reach out to my teachers after school and ask them questions on parts I got confused about. I was always the class topper, scoring 100% on exams, my teachers praised me for it and I felt good about it.

But that's when grade 10 came, and I was not expecting much based on previous experiences with how easy it was. (But it's mostly because it was just a section in the science subject so it's not like a deep dive into physics) Basically how grade 10 works in my school is that you get to pick 3 subjects you will dedicate the rest of your school year to. I picked Physics Chemistry and Computer science. But it was a huge struggle because I no longer listened in class I was too confident in my abilities on physics and spent most of my time on other subjects. I no longer reach out to my teacher for extra help on things I didn't understand. That's when I got my results on my first paper, I failed. I was utterly devastated, I wanted to study but now I have lost all confidence in it. But because I can't switch subjects now I'm stuck with it so I was forced to suck it up and push through.

Now I'm in grade 11/12 (grade 11 and grade 12 is a combined grade where I will take a final mock exam that pretty much decided my entire future, fail and your screwed) so I'm looking to really get back on my feet, ive missed so much of grade 10 physics and I'm afraid I can't catch up with my peers. I have made this post in hopes that you can give me advice on what I can do right now, what should I focus on etc because I dont know what to do.

AITAH for finally snapping at my sister after years of torment

My sister has been screaming at me over the smallest things since middle school. She blames me for stuff she did, uses me as her scapegoat, and constantly plays the victim, leading to me always getting in trouble, get scolded and beaten. She brings up her mental health as an excuse for everything, but never once considered mine.

Recently, I asked her very nicely, with a neutral tone, to clean up the garlic peels off the counter because she never cleans up after herself every time she cooks. Before I even finished speaking, she started screaming at me. The thing is, after so long she just never stopped doing this, always screaming and shouting to avoid responsibility. So I threatened her and grabbed her hand. I know I was wrong for that and I've admitted it. But this reaction was all because of all my years of trauma with her.

And now she's telling our cousins only that part (where I laid hands on her) leaving out the years of screaming, blaming, and emotional abuse that led to it. She's making me look like the only problem.

I finally spoke up and told her the truth, that she's the reason I'm paranoid, don't trust people, and felt suicidal at one point, but yet she keeps twisting my words and playing the victim.

Honestly I don't know what to do anymore, I'm afraid that nobody will take my side on this matter because of my sister's persistence to victimize herself, making me look like I was the only person who was acting crazy. She's also a social maniac so she is able to easily manipulate her friends to go against me.

Edit : Id like to thank everybody for their advice and giving your opinions on this matter. But throughout all your comments I still have one concern which is the fact that she has many friends, and when she has many friends, combined with her narcissism, I am certain (and I have heard) that she has already spread some gossip to my cousin's and to her Canadian friends, potentially ruining my reputation at the school I am about to attend (I moved to Canada not long ago). This is the biggest concern I've had, the reason why I'm paranoid and the reason why so many of my friendships last so short because I can't afford to trust anybody anymore. It also shattered my confidence, knowing that as long as my sister has already talked to them then she has bound to had said something about me (which my friends did tell me that she did gossip about me when I wasn't there).

My immortal game, demonstrating french defences attacking capabilities.

Whites accuracy : 80.3%

Blacks accuracy : 90.3%

Opening : French defence: advance, Paulsen attack variation.

[WhiteElo "1952"] [BlackElo "1969"] [TimeControl "600"] 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 c5 4. c3 Nc6 5. Nf3 Nge7 6. Bd3 Bd7 7. O-O cxd4 8. cxd4 Nf5 9. Bxf5 exf5 10. Nc3 Be6 11. Bg5 Qb6 12. Na4 Qc7 13. Rc1 h6 14. Be3 g5 15. Re1 f4 16. Bd2 Be7 17. Nc5 g4 18. Nxe6 fxe6 19. Bxf4 gxf3 20. Qxf3 O-O-O 21. a3 Rdf8 22. Qe3 Bg5 23. Bxg5 hxg5 24. b4 Qh7 25. h3 Kb8 26. Rxc6 bxc6 27. Rc1 Kb7 28. Qc3 Rc8 29. Qc5 Rhf8 30. a4 Qf7 31. f3 Qf4 32. Rb1 Qe3+ 33. Kh2 Rf4 34. b5 Rxd4 35. bxc6+ Ka8 36. c7 Qf4+ 37. Kh1 Rc4 38. Qd6 R4xc7 39. Qxe6 Rc1+ *

The reason why I love this variation is it's ability to attack without giving white any counter attacking ideas. Because I already have a pawn storm ready, my pieces are all positioned well to unleash a deadly attack to the white king.

Finally reached my life long goal of 2000 rapid elo.

Took me 3 years but I've finally done it!

I finally found the openings I loved because the middle games match my playstyle which led me to a surge in elo.

Not sure what to do now honestly.

Edit: To everybody who decided to look for my account, my account name is NO LONGER bingis dingus and no I did NOT lose to a 500 elo (ok I did lose but he cheated), no I did NOT EVER touch my rapid elo after I reached 2004. If you think you found me, then check to see if I have a hedgehog as my profile picture and the description "goodbye declaration🦔" and the fact I only have 8 chess.com friends if you really want to look for it

Thoughts on which opening to use

I have already mastered most lines in the queens gambit. But most of my games usually end in draws as long as my opponents knows what they're doing. My question is whether I should switch to Catalan, I am currently 1900 elo in rapid and I feel like people aren't expecting Catalan which would lower the draw rate. Or should I switch to E4? Thanks in advance

Will I get banned even if I didn't cheat but it looks like I am

I took a break from chess for about 4 months because I got bored. Around last week I decided to play some chess again because I saw my friends playing it as well. Usually I struggled to get pass 1700 elo but for some reasons all my opponents were incredibly weak resulting in me getting a high winning streak. I have seen many people get banned for things like these, I've never cheated and I don't want to lose this account because I have premium, what should I do?
