I know the title's a bit flashy but bear with me.

So, for JIPMAT, till now we know two things.

Result will surely come till next week -

As confirmed by various people who talked to IIM BG on call

There will be low merit list movement this year-

But how?

Let's see

• So, for the merit list of IIM Bodhgaya and Jammu's IPM Program, there is a slightly different procedure.
• They first ask for money to be on their final merit list i.e. Expression of Interest (EOI)
• Then they allot seats on the basis of merit to students according to their respective categories.
• Then people who get admission offer make an important decision, if they are willing to get the seat, they have pay additional money. But some students might also reject it so hence more merit lists are released.

>This year we can't rely on the waitlist movement of previous year because this year's scenario is totally different.

Exams were held late and overlapped with interviews and exams of other colleges there were many (sort of screening procedures)

Screening 1: - Late exams and overlapping interview and exams of other institutions gave many people no choice but to choose the interviews and other institutes exams. Many people were screened here.

Screening 2: Results are to be announced (can say) but they are very late because NTA has allegedly not surrendered results to IIM Jammu and Bodhgaya. So, many people who got into other IIMs, DU or other institutions have already filled their respective fees and for some even the withdrawal date has gone past so they will not leave(assuming) their respective institutes for IIM Bodhgaya and Jammu.

Screening 3: This year the number of IIMs and universities offering undergrad program has increased and few existing have increased their program umbrella as well.

EFFECT

People who will be filling Expression of Interest (EOI), maximum of them would be candidates whose best choice is IIM Bodhgaya or Jammu so this will affect the number of lists published a lot but a lot of people will be eliminated in expression of interest phase only so we don't have any serious conclusion in this regard.

This year the admission policy of IIM Jammu has changed which will affect the merit list movement of IIM Bodhgaya as i am expecting those high scorers who have high scores and low board marks, effectively reducing their chance to get admission in IIM Jammu will join IIM Bodhgaya.

Expectation of the Quality of batch to be admitted

Jammu- The batch pool this year can be filled with those students who were serious about their academics from the start and have performed well in jipmat as well.

(Personal comment: - In short Ese bacche jo rules follow kartein hai aur bado ki baat mante hai,only good boys and girls)

Bodhgaya- The batch pool quality will considerably increase as a result of policy change in IIM Jammu admission regard, and the idea is also supported by the seniors of IIM Bodhgaya I have talked to till now.

(It is my observation and i'm just a small 18 yr old kid)

Jammu board marks

I just realised that not asking board marks and delaying it is actually a smart move to filter out students before waitlist as most of the uninterested students would not fill their 12th marks

Season of doom starts tomorrow, (expecting many results one by one in the next 2 week).

Next couple of weeks can be cold, miserable, but losing your cool will mean the game is over. Life will demand patience in many times, and this is just the starting. Be patient and relax, All the best

I have identified that people who make it big in life have some eccentric habits or some special skills in childhood which leads them to success. All those who says average can't make it are wrong. Remember that the average also had some skills in childhood.

Everyone has it which allows every person to have an equal amount of chance to succeed. Don't be demotivated if you were not able to achieve what you want, because life might have other plans which might create wonders.

How do the people who barely clear their category cutoffs(especially sc and st) cope up with the rigour of IIM and why are they even allowed admission in college if they are not even able to put in the effort to score decent amount of marks (dumb question, I might be wrong but genuine question out of curiosity not hate)

Brotha, just chill, alright. NTA ain't running away without 12th marks. Freaking got a headache after seeing such questions. Just go and do something productive

I have scored 344 in jipmat this year so I'm pretty confident about getting into an IIM

I also have pis from amritsar, Rohtak , ranchi, indore so I'm sure I will land somewhere.
