i want to experiment with using my sculptures as a base for crystal growth. I’m not really sure where it will take me and dont have a specific vision, but since it is a few materials I wanted to ask if any one has advice for growing on multiple materials at once? my sculptures are wood, nylon, and brass. I have leds on some but I don’t think they would survive a submersion, if someone has ideas that don’t involve a soak would love to have them.

forgive me for my lack of knowledge and thank you for any insight you can offer foto of my work for reference

ISO stories set in a sudo ancient Egypt

edit: as informed in the comments sudo should be psuedo

ISO: in search of

The only thing I know of that’s even remotely close is Elevation of Mana, and that’s just because of its early stage of engineering.

I know there are many general historical fictions set in that time frame but I’m looking for progression fantasy specifically

would love any suggestions available

thanks

How to make career pivot from freelance engineer to anything else?

I am looking for advice on pivoting away from freelance. I am an artist that has been freelancing along side my art (which hasn't really gone anywhere) for years and I am burn out on the instability and grind of it. I for the last decade I have been a engineer doing software development and creative tech for early stage startups, boutique agencies, immersive experiences, museum installations, and film. I have also worked a a technician in Antarctica, a stunt person, and an adjunct professor.

I am really burnt out on my chaotic hustle. I am not really sure how to pivot into a traditional role, with benefits and stability (not sure that truly exists right now).

Looking for suggestions on how to hone in on what I might find success in, where to find roles, and how to pitch myself? Do I hire a career coach? Do I just spam linkedIn?

Thanks!
