Onboarded story- Day 5 and 6

Link to previous posts

https://www.reddit.com/r/LtiMindtree2026/s/REvg7GIjAS

We have daily training from 9 to 6

With break after every 2 hours ( 15 mins )

Lunch from 1 to 2 pm

Schedule is hectic a bit because too much to consume , and college life has made us all lazy and phone addicted

In classroom its only you and company laptop and trainer behind your ass just hunting for a chance to point you out .

Please practice long sitting and dopamine reduction yoga's and anything you wanna call it , I never went to college properly , my brain literally just zones out every 5 mins , trying hard to concentrate

Onboarding lesson - domain is secondary , your capacity to take it is primary please just try sitting for 3 hours without phone , the main reason for failure is our own negligence.

New batch might be onboarded on 22 sept ( a little sneak peak on Sutta break , i dont bloody smoke, only passive smoking with friends , sab nashedi mile hai🥲)

Feel free to ask anything

Please refrain from dm sorry

Domain allotment - onboarded - 12th Aug ( mahape )

Link to previous post

https://www.reddit.com/r/LtiMindtree2026/s/6ZNfGJ6yhE

So the most important day of every LTM offer holder was today 😂

Domain allotment was done for our batch today

Will not elongate much will be straight forward - I'll not reveal mine , privacy purposes sorry .

Total batch strength onboarded - 179

Databricks - 53

SAP - 50

Data azure - 27

Data engineer - 29

Business Intelligence ( BI ) - 20

This was the exact distribution ( can be plus minus upto 3 from SAP amd Data azure )

No one got java , .net, fullstack any other tech please dont mention unnecessary Domain doubts , I have given the exact count of it .

We were the first batch of LTM mahape to get Data domains ( Kalinga dont have much idea but mostly there also no batch of Data is onboarded ) , even we were the first ones to get Saturday off .

Duration - not revealed till now

Any other thing not revealed by the management

Please dont create unnecessary panic and FOMO , it was completely random .

SAP people had certification and a round of interview separately obviously.

Rest all were from Data Science or related degrees , no certification mail was taken into consideration as far as I know , even people who filled java in certification mail got Data.

I tried to clear most of the questions I guess. If you have anything feel free to ask I'll reply everyone , keep calm .

Ps: I'll not tell my domain , so please refrain asking from that - got one of these 5 obviously

Milestone details from orientation

( will not attach the photo for saftey but here is gpt summarised version )

LINK TO PREV POST - https://www.reddit.com/r/LtiMindtree2026/s/X9dv3c5lxA

🌳 Overall structure

Stage What happens

Stage 1 – ORCHARD Main training phase, conducted at LTM locations

Stage 2 Trainees are handed over to WFM for deployment to business

Stage 3 Top-up training, including business-unit-specific training and certification

📚 Stage 1 – ORCHARD

Duration: ~11 weeks

Weeks 1–2 → Foundation

Foundation syllabus

Initial learning/training

Weeks 3–9 → Core + Project

Core syllabus

Progressive project work

Coding/project milestone assessments

Weeks 10–11 → Capstone + Soft Skills

Capstone project

Soft skills

Delivery skills

Group project presentation & evaluation

💻 Skill tracks

The slide mentions two broad categories:

Generic tracks

Full-stack Java/.NET

Mean/Mern (likely MEAN/MERN)

Testing

Mainframe

Production support

Practice-specific tracks

Data

Cloud

Security

ERP

Salesforce

DevOps

Embedded

Infra skills etc.

So your exact syllabus, duration and number of assessments depend on the skill track.

📝 Assessments

The important part:

3–4 coding/project milestone assessments

Retest option for each assessment

1 milestone assessment for soft skills

KBA (MCQ Quiz) + SBA (Coding Assignments)

KBA: 40%

SBA: 60%

Progressive Project Evaluation

Individual project

Mock interviews

Group project presentation/evaluation

👨‍🏫 Mentoring/support

Training includes:

LTM SMEs + Vendor SMEs

Doubt-clearance sessions

Mentoring

Mock interviews

Project evaluation

✅ Passing criterion

65% in each milestone.

That's important: it appears to be 65% separately for each milestone, not simply 65% overall.

🚀 After ORCHARD

Once Stage 1 is completed:

Stage 2 → Deployment

Trainees are handed over to WFM for deployment.

They may be engaged before deployment through learning assignments where needed.

Stage 3 → Top-up

BU-specific additional training

Certification training

In simple terms

Join → ~11 weeks technical + project training → frequent assessments → need 65% in each milestone → capstone/group project + soft skills → WFM deployment → business-specific/certification training.

They also explicitly say that the duration and number of assessments can vary depending on your skill track.

Strictly NO dms

Just ask here whatever you want
