Come on mate

Saw a post recently about Sakai’s thoughts in the hot spring and I thought I would share this gem

Did I do it right ?

I arrived on this subreddit a few months ago as a complete newbie. I read so many posts and I learned so much. Thanks to you guys I can now proudly present to you my 2.1 system!

Notice how I got a carpet to tie the room together, and of course got the bookshelf speakers on proper speaker stands. Also I made sure to pull the speakers away from the wall. The crowning jewel is obviously the fiio k11 dac, worth multiple times the price of the speakers. Overall, I can say I’m pretty happy with my choices.

(This is all a joke, the edifiers are from my first, starter setup which I am now upgrading. I am unpacking things and setting things up a bit everyday, and a real picture will follow once everything looks good.)

Full-bipol speakers, snake oil ?

Rowen (swiss company) claims that their “full-bipol” design/enclosure makes their speakers basically placement-insensitive. I do not have the level of knowledge to decide if they are on to something or if it is snake oil. Has anyone tried these speakers ? Or does someone understand how this could work (from the link) ?
